My self-summary
First and foremost, you should know that I am in the very beginning stages of transition(updated photos to come). If this makes you uncomfortable, do us both a favor and keep moving. If you have questions, I probably won't mind answering, assuming the questions are considerate and respectful.

Contrary to what the magical 'algorithm of personality assessment' claims, I would consider myself to be a nice, easy-going person who appreciates the arts, believes that people are who and what they are and it's not my place to tell them to change.
Very open-minded and therefore rather difficult to shock(also, see musical preferences. That should give you an idea).

Not sure if anyone else is as frustrated with the answer options to most of th OKC questions as I am but, two words: More. MORE! *deep breaths* I'm okay, I swear. (Probably should've had a period between those.) Most of the personality questions have answers that, in real life, aren't as clear-cut as 'Yes or No'.

Music is and has always been a large part of my life. Due to this, I've become a walking trivia game entirely on accident. At this point, I probably don't have too much left to learn to be considered a music historian.

I may or may not have some form of ADD. Or maybe I'm just really easily distracted. All through school, my nickname as per my instructors was 'the absent-minded professor'. Not sure about the 'professor' part, but absent-minded sure still applies!
The best way to sum up how I tend to be is via the phrase 'consistently inconsistent'. Just in a more creative sort of way.
What I’m doing with my life
Working with all things metal, trying to finish some of the projects I've started, learning to play guitar, trying to write music, start drawing/painting/sculpting again. Trying to figure out the rest of myself and how I think I should fit into the fabric of living things.
I’m really good at
Thinking out loud in an unfiltered manner, being a little awkward, sarcasm and sardonicism, useless trivia, self-deprecation as an attention-getter, making people laugh, conversing about nearly anything, being energetic, being the typical head-in-the-clouds-feet-on-the-ground annoying sort. In other words, not much.
The first things people usually notice about me
Based on comments made by others: height(6'3"), the shinyness(totally a real word) and/or length of my hair, how thin I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Lots of science-related articles, Nikola Tesla: Imagination and the Man Who Invented the 20th Century, Man Without a Country, 2 B R 0 2 B, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Siddhartha, The Idiot, Paradise Lost, Ideas and Opinions, Praxis, The Faded Sun Trilogy, Eyes of the Dragon, Good Omens, The Gargoyle, Angelology, Treatise on Self-Propelled Vehicles, anything about music, science, technology, or politics.

The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:
My guitars
My forge
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How art has, does, and will impact society and the environment and what I can do for both portions of that, how to improve the things I see or hear about.
Everything, nothing, and all that is and can be between it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing things. These things may or may not involve a guitar, books, chainmaille supplies(yes, I do actually make chainmaille), gardening-related items, chainsaws, sledgehammers, axes, lawn tractors, metal. Long and short of it is, this is why I need a friend or two closer than 110 miles away.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My real name is in no way related to my username. And that I have a hard time messaging people first so, if you want to chat/contact me, you'll probably be making the first move. If you get a message from me first, just know that I've probably been agonizing for awhile over what to say, should I message you, what if you don't message back, etc., etc.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 24–31
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You're looking for a good conversation about anything in general.
You're looking to have several long chats about how to make and/or destroy things effectively.
You want to actually get out and make and/or destroy things with someone who is all about that sort of thing.
Someone awesome is missing from your list of friends and you're looking to fill the void. :)
You're okay with/actively seeking someone who is part of the 'T' in LGBTQ.
