My self-summary Propose an edit

I am energetic, caring, romantic and love to learn new things. I love to meet new people. I enjoy many activities, such as photography, hiking, gardening and certain sports fishing. When it's raining or in the evenings I enjoy going online, meeting new people, sharing stories and more recently have gotten hooked on Sudoku. I guess it's because I am a numbers guy. I am also very interested in archaeology and hope to pursue it more as I phase into retirement.

I am a CPA and the Controller at a golf course in the Santa Cruz area.

I was married for over 35 years and have two daughters and seven grandchildren. Family is very important to me.

I would love to find someone to share hikes with, who has time for both friends and family, and who will stimulate me intellectually. If they worked in the garden with me that would be fantastic. I also enjoy dancing and concerts, although I am happy to dance at home. They preferably will enjoy wines.

I am a strong believer in friends first and seeing what develops from there. I enjoy a good life but finding the right person could make it much better

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am working full-time with the intent of scaling it back over the next year to allow more time for travel and pleasure.

I find great pleasure in family interaction and communing with nature.

My life would be more complete if I find the right person to enjoy it with me. Internet relationships are fine, but personal relationships are awesome.

Crunching numbers, photography and being on time. I am also a spelling perfectionist and like to write poetry.

I love to sample and evaluate wines and find bargains.

I believe I am also good at judging people. There are so many wonderful people on this earth, mixed in with lots of less savory persons. I believe I am capable of finding the person with the big heart.

I also love to cook and have gotten compliments. I am sort of an innovater, being self-taught.

They never tell me! Maybe that I walk kind of funny, due to some neurological problems. I am healthy but do have an uneven gait-but I am not Hopalong Cassidy!

When they get closer, I do get comments on my blue eyes. Little do they know how bad my eyesight is!

I love ethnic foods of all types (except English-they don't have anything memorable). All types of music except rap. I have recently gotten hooked on Sudoku.

I usually don't go out to movies, since they eventually show up on cable and you can watch them comfortably at home-preferably with a good friend. I love thrillers and westerns.

Most of my reading has been directed toward the continuing education for maintaining my CPA license. I am also avidly into investment publications.

I snore sometimes and can do burp talk. I almost drowned when I was young and had to be circumcized twice. The list goes on and on!
