My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Child of the world, born in The Netherlands, grew up in France, Nigeria and Argentina, which led me to feel at home anywhere quite quickly. Back in Holland during my teen years in a small town near the beach. Following high-school, couldn't decide whether to study Art Academy or Economics (worlds apart, I know). Chose the latter because I thought I can always go back to Art but not the other way around. Lived in Rio de Janeiro for a while as part of an exchange program (loved it!) After university, I moved to Amsterdam to work as Don Draper (haha, well sort of) and recently moved to London to work in advertising.

Next to that, a European polyglot, seriously fascinated about people and behaviour, philosophical conversations, witty remarks or silly banter; I can find fun in all that, interested in the etymology behind most things, seeing foxes in the city (stole this one but I really find that fascinating somehow), curious habit of making top-10 lists and wondering how it is to have a goat as a pet...

Love to travel, hangout with friends, meeting new people, finding hidden places or ping-pong tables in bars (thanks east London), reading on comfy sofas in pubs, spending a weekend watching a box set marathon, discovering new music, watching commercials (think I'm the only one), pizza+coke+couch+movie=awesome, so is Derek Zoolander, snowboarding in the sun, pulling weird faces in mirrors, in public, just kidding, going on city trips, Harvey & Mike are my role models and putting up weird pictures of animals on Facebook (that people think I've run into in the park or something) and see how many likes it gets. Hilarious. A picture of an owl in a bad mood tops the leaderboard at this moment.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a creative strategist and planner. In this connected age, I help brands to become ‘agents of change’ and create sustainable added value through creativity. It's my role to identify this creativity at its very core. By asking the right questions. By determining how and why people constantly strive for connection and interaction. As an eternal student of human behavior, I strive to understand people, the cultural context – the zeitgeist if you will – and the purpose brands play in their lives. Yes, I work in advertising. I love my my job.

At the same time I love to work with start-ups, develop and think of new and big ideas, helping and inspiring others to succeed and thinking of ways I can get myself on Dragon's Den.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to change the world. And filling in these questions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday night for me. I usually figure out what to do Friday afternoon. I gather my options during the week and choose the most fun one when Friday comes :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I walk on a desolate road I sometimes wonder how far I can walk in a straight line with my eyes closed.

And I once finished a book in one go whilst listening to 4 songs on repeat from the Dire Straits.
