What I’m doing with my life

I'm a senior at HSU, just trying to keep my GPA up so I can get into grad school! I also volunteer with kids during the week.

Cooking vegetarian food, spelling, making art (ceramics and photography), playing foosball, and keeping plants alive =)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love dark comedies, odd love stories and movies that are visually appealing. I love sushi and Indian food. As for music, I'm pretty much into anything with an acoustic guitar or lyrics that tell a story. A few of my favorites are: The Decemberists, The Mountain Goats, Kimya Dawson, Ani Difranco, Tegan and Sara, Iron & Wine, Grateful Dead.
As for books, I have questions and look for books that can answer them. I usually get obsessed with one topic and read as much as I can about it and then a month or so later I'll find something else to look up. I recently attended a Buddhist retreat and am intent on learning as much about Buddhism as I can.
Oh the Harry Potter series and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland will forever be my favorite books!

On a typical Friday night I am

ummm I bought vagisil anti chafing cream a couple weeks ago to put on my face because I heard that it minimizes the appearance of your pores. I dunno if it works but my face hasn't chafed at all!
