Hi I'm Rob, thanks for visiting my profile :)

I’m a generally positive and happy 29 year old. I’m confident, loyal, caring and pretty much nice all round (almost to a fault, but not quite :p)

I’m fairly intelligent and I like good, interesting conversation. I love music, films and books and will happily chat about any and all of these extensively. I’m also a big art fan and I like going to galleries, though I generally have to go alone as most of my mates aren’t interested! I’m into culture and I love going to museums and the like, don’t go to the theatre much but I think I’d quite like to.

I’m a bit of a geek, I love learning (especially history), I have an interest in politics and philosophy, I watch documentaries and I play the occasional computer game.

Oh and I love the natural world - trees, landscapes, seascapes as well in fact, yeah all of that. I don’t get to see much of that on a daily basis as I live in the centre of Birmingham, being there certainly has its advantages though.

Aside from all of that the bits below and the various match questions thingies provide a fairly accurate picture of me, though there is more to me of course (as is the case with most people!)

I live in the centre of Birmingham, it's one of the most vibrant and diverse places in Britain and I love it. I enjoy exploring what the city has to offer with my mates and at some point I'd love to do the same with someone special.

I've lived in the north, south and middle of England and been fortunate enough to visit quite a few other countries (and would love to visit more!)

Making people laugh, well, my mates anyway, so again in the right company I guess :)

I can cook pretty well, not sure about 'really good' but definitely 'competent'

Physically it's possibly my hair, it's really thick and can be... unruly. Managed to get it mostly under control in recent years fortunately.

My eyes are apparently fairly notable as well.

Out, usually, I'm still fairly young lol. Normally pubs with my mates nowadays, we don't really go to clubs so much any more, once every couple of months or so I guess.

You don't hate geeks. I'm not into everything geeky and it's certainly not all I am, but if you really hate sci-fi and games you'll probably not be interested in me.
