I'm a first generation Oregon Native. I reside in Salem with my one-eyed dog. I try to stay involved in the community. I’m an OPB member (it’s the only sticker on my car) and listen to public radio daily. If I could, I’d pay Ira Glass to read me bedtime stories. I drink my coffee black and my whiskey neat.
I’m a socially liberal, fiscally conservative (ideally), independent woman looking for someone as ambitious, flexible, loyal, and dedicated as I am. I’ve been called a lot of things, including a passionate free-spirit. I do things that I find fulfilling, be it professionally or personally. I'm strong, confident, straightforward, and very vocal. I love learning new things. I'd definitely describe myself as a do-er.
I laugh. A lot. Usually at myself or something I said. I'd make a horrible comedian. Isn't there a rule about laughing at your own jokes? Some find me amusing because I'm profusely profane and the size of a matchbox.
I'd never consider myself a fitness freak or gym rat. I'd rather experience something more stimulating than watching other people pump iron while I run on a treadmill. I'm also not one to beat myself up about what I eat. I have what I'd consider a healthy relationship with food. I don't like depriving myself of good things just so I can be socially cool or whatever. The entire "clean eating" and "fitness" epidemic that is surrounding me is utter bullshit. Eat real and good food. Keep your body and mind active by exploring the world around you.
However, if going to the gym or running every day is your thing, do it! I'm not saying it's a deal breaker. Hell, even I run a few times a week. More so for peace of mind and so my dog doesn't think she's going to die from inactivity.
