Okay, time for an update.

I've now officially been in LA for a little over 8 months, and though I never thought it possible, it's grown on me. Just as I've gotten settled into my local Silver Lake/Los Feliz/Echo Park hood, it's time for a move again though. I've started working on the westside and don't think I can sacrifice 2-3 hours of my daily life to traffic. Venice, I'll be there soon.

My first love is travel, but music, particularly the danceable type is a close second. I don't miss Canadian winters but I do miss the city and its diversity. I love when people share their LA secrets with me, whether it be ethnic food, warehouse parties, scenic views or fun shopping. I'm always up for an adventure, and am just as happy to make new friends as go on dates.

My job as a store manager for a large fashion retailer keeps me pretty busy and gives me a really varied schedule. Sometimes it's fun to be off on a tuesday, kinda like playing hooky from school. I've previously been involved with martial arts, namely muay thai but haven't found a suitable place to train since living in the states. I'll likely renew my search soon.

Disclaimers: I am opinionated, politically incorrect, and chronically late. On the upside, I do clean up well and generally rate pretty high on the fun scale;)
