My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a fun loving, interesting guy who enjoys life for all it's quirkiness. I have an easy laugh and a good, but sometimes twisted, sense of humour. My grandfather always said "what goes around comes around" and that's pretty much my life philosophy. I'm just as comfortable being fancy shmancy as I am in a dive bar or out in nature. I love a good meal and a good glass of wine and i believe that life is worth enjoying.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently made a big career change and moved over to the charitable sector. Running a small charity takes up lots of my time but it's really fulfilling.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
cooking and conversation.

stunning good looks, winning personality and humble disposition... ha ha ha. Seriously though, the ginger beard and blue eyes usually get a comment.

books: i love Nabokov, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Foucault. movies: Les Amours Imaginaires, Midnight in Paris. Music: Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Of Monsters and Men and lots more! Robyn and Whitney Houston can usually get me to shake my booty. I have a soft spot for Motown and oldies. Food: I make amazing duck confit and ratatouille and i love to bbq in the summer and make a big batch of something that will stick to your ribs in the winter. I will try almost any new food once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This one is tough... several people on here have listed people as "things" which is kinda weird when you think about it. For the record, I love the people in my life way, WAY more than any of the things listed below... but here goes:

A good kitchen knife
My passport
A glass of wine
A soundtrack to my life
A good pair of shoes for walking
My strange, inherited family heirloom
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
food and epistemology.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Summer: meeting friends or my sisters for an after work drink on a patio.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I get nightmares from scary movies. :-S
