My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
this won't help. it will just be some totally biased crap that you will interpret the wrong way anyhow. we should hang out together if you really want to know about me.

it takes me a little time to warm up to folks usually. i am outgoing, dependable, loyal, happy, energetic, communicative, utilitarian, sassy.

i am quite fond of riding my bicycle (road bike). i like to wear fun knee-high socks when i cycle; i have lost count of how many people laugh/smile at me when i go by. :D i have completed the STP 3 times. Bikram yoga is the bees knees. it is very important to me that my partner have a compatible lifestyle. you know what they say: "the couple that plays together, stays together". if you don't want to go cycling or backpacking, you might be lonely in the summer...

i cook. a lot. love being with the bugs/dirt/plants in my garden and in the woods. i am passionate about Mother Nature; she has many lessons for us. DIY, sewing, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking to a nice spot with nobody for miles, camping, kayaking... i am not one of those folks that just says they like these things; i actually get up and get on out and do them. the second bedroom in my house has become a damn gear closet fer chrissakes... :P
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
worked as a software engineer (LAMP) for 9 years, trying out SDET for a spell now. i am figuring out how to transition to a life that involves functional medicine, community, and nature; this transition is long overdue. i am currently working through a program to become a Holistic Nutritionist!! taking care of my mind, body, and spirit are very important to me. i have started playing with a kettlebell, and am thinking that it may just be the best home gym equipment ever.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
parallel parking, hugs, getting people to open up, cooking, and some other things a lady does not mention.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i get the half-cocked stare a lot. people think i look like someone they know. been told more than a few times i look like Anna Paquin.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

food: i try to eat local, organic, sustainable foods so i love my Sunday Farmers' Market. i LOVE to cook. from scratch. i think many have lost their relationship with their food. my dishes include Greek, Thai, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Filipino, and more. i love making my own fermented foods ('kraut, kimchi and more). it can get pretty fragrant sometimes... i want to try my hand at injera soon, and making my own cheese. if you want to cook together, i may just melt. ;)

i am enrolled with the Institute of Transformational Nutrition and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition so that i can become a Holistic Nutritionist. if you are not passionate about healthy food, or at least willing to try, we are probably not going to be a good match.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
connection, laughter, quality time in nature, my garden, a well-equipped kitchen, and moving meditation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
balance, metaphysics, my garden, kissing, sex, sexy beards, changing the world, what i will cook next, how i can make my home more minimalist.

how to be more efficient, the nature/why of things. i believe that when you understand nature, people, and why/how everything works, you are closer to achieving harmony with the universe.

spending a year or 2 traveling the world, living in different places, learning new languages. backpacking the PCT from Mexico to Seattle.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
not into clubbing. something to wind down from the week, often yoga, or getting an early evening for something fun on Saturday: bike ride, snowboarding, etc.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
occasionally i will do some gardening with a headlamp. my neighbors probably think i'm nuts, but that's ok.

you are not going to mistake my username as license for a segue into lewd conversation. it is meant to make you laugh, not turn you into a skeezy creeper that came out of my toobs.

you smile/laugh a lot, are considerate, intelligent, an excellent communicator, proactive, passionate about Nature, sensual, cuddly... having a sense of humor is important! i tend to do well with folks who are open and straightforward. say what you mean, and mean what you say; i will do the same.
