I am hilarious, brutally efficient, and sassy.

My Self-Summary

OK, to start with, I just moved here from Florida. I'm originally from Tallahassee, and I went to school at the University of Central Florida, where I got a BFA in stage management. I'm a snappy dresser, a vegetarian, passionate about my work, and a dedicated friend and sister. My personal hygiene is immaculate. I'm in the process of getting a one-act play published and I'm hoping to finish my first novel by Christmas. I love cooking and making up my own recipes. I took ASL in high school and would love to become fluent. I have a bad habit of analyzing everything to death--and that tends to be a source of entertainment for friends and family alike. I have a secret desire to become a martial arts expert. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a little shy when I first meet new people, but once you get to know me I'm an excellent conversationalist and very funny (if I say so myself).

Sorry for all the non sequiturs, but an entire summary of self is a tough thing to write at 2 in the morning.

Anyway, I've only been in here for a couple of months, but I love Denver! I'm still just beginning to explore the city, and really want to meet some new people to explore it with me.

What I’m doing with my life

I work in theatre as a stage manager, but someday I'm going to travel the world, join the peace corps, become a famous romance novelist, and then conclude my career as an even more famous director and playwright, taking the world by storm! Pretty good plan, right?

I’m really good at

Directing, wasting money on things I don’t need, transcontinental travel, urban exploring, all things theatre, making macaroni and cheese, and writing civil war era letters.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'd like to think the first thing people notice about me is my charm and winning personality. My roommate says it's my "huge knockers".
So, let's just go with my blue eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:I'm particularly fond of trashy romance novels. I also love plays of almost any kind but Neil LaBute is my favorite playwright hands down. Oh and horrible, horrible manga. LOTS OF IT.

Movies: Jesus Christ Superstar (2000 revival, jeeze, duh), the Labyrinth, the Princess Bride, Mommy Dearest, Count of Monte Cristo, Oxygen, Starsky and Hutch, Anchorman, The Object of my Affection, Mansfield Park (And it must be said that I love the not-sex scenes from "Mansfield Park"--you know, where the sexual tension is almost palpable. Actually, I can't really even *think* about those scenes without yelling "SO GOOD."), Hackers, all of the Harry Potter movies, Zoolander, Fight Club, Walk the Line, Hot Rod, Pride and Prejudice, The cutting Edge, All of the Die Hard movies, Galaxy Quest- the list goes on and on.

Music: Frightened Rabbit, Death Cab for Cutie, Stars, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Queen, Sting, The Rocket Summer, Sufjan Stevens, Of Montreal, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Rilo Kiley, , The Shins, We Were Promised Jet Packs, Muse, We Are Scientists, Wolf Parade, Guillemots, Regina Spektor, Feist, Page France, Bishop Allen, The Long Winters, The Bird and the Bee, Passion Pit, Lily Allen, Kings of Leon, Band of Horses, Phoenix, Los Campensinos, Fleet Foxes, again the list goes on....

TV: How I met Your Mother, Law and Order SVU, Bones, True Blood, Supernatural, Glee, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Office, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and America’s Best Dance Crew (I know, I’m sorry, but I love it).

Food: I love Indian food but I have yet to find a really stellar Indian restaurant in Denver.

The six things I could never do without

Lip gloss, my glasses, a book, something delicious, a down comforter, and my friends--who are less like "things" and more like living, breathing people.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Theatre. The future. The future of theatre. Truthfully I *do* spend a lot of time thinking about random stuff that has a connection to one of those two things. I'm a director, a writer and a daydreamer so I'm constantly getting lost in random details that spark an idea for a show or story.

On a typical Friday night I am

In rehearsal, at home reading or occasionally I'll go out with friends, in which case we'll definitely be up to no good. I hang out with ne'er do wells.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have lots of quirks. Example: I have a fear of children with food on their face.

You should message me if

You're confident but humble, have a good sense of humor, are open-minded and tolerant, and maybe even have an artistic side. But, I mean, if you're not a total dick then chances are I'll probably write you back.
