I am funny, fun, and ridiculous.
My Self-Summary
I'm new at this so forgive me while I stumble. I'm a bit klutzy to
begin with.
I am a people person and will pretty much talk to anyone. I'm told
that's what being from Pittsburgh will do to you and that people
aren't like that in real life. :) My jobs require me to interact
with the public, so getting to know people is part of the job,
too.
I'm an only child and I believe that I'm extra-social because I
spent a lot of time by myself in my youth. I love to go out,
whether it be to a yoga class or running or even to play rockband
with my good friends. I'm a bit nerdy on the inside,
I have an obsession with
peanut butter, pens and my
XM radio. I
can't cook. I burn toast and have ruined pots boiling water. Ask my
mother. I love to read and always have a stack of books next to my
bed. I love to go to the movie theater, however, I have a hard time
getting people to go with me. The one thing I always make time for
is a concert - I love live music. Just saw the Decemberists at the
Byham and the show was absolutely amazing. I will always try new
things, especially if I have someone to go with who can show me the
ropes. I truly believe I am funny. If you don't believe it, too,
this may not work :) I like to try new foods and have new
adventures and I would love to travel more.
What I’m doing with my life
I work a LOT. I have both a full- and part-time job, so they keep
me quite busy. I am always searching to find my niche in life...
but I'm having fun along the way.
I’m really good at
I truly am a jack of all trades and a master of none.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am completely ridiculous and super friendly.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'm big into music, especially indie rock and acoustic stuff and
some of my favorite bands are: Kings of Leon, Ari Hest, Ray
Lamontagne, the Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens, Gomez, Amos Lee,
Jason Mraz, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Jonny Lang, Spoon, Bon Iver,
M. Ward, Death Cab for Cutie, Andrew Bird, Magic Numbers, My
Morning Jacket, Ryan Adams, Feist and John Mayer.
I love cancelled TV shows... there's something whimsical about
them. Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared,
Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, Pushing Daisies...
I am currently watching Friday Night Lights and while I loved the
first season, the second season might be killing me. Here's to
hoping the third is better. I am obsessed with How I met Your
Mother (but I have not seen Season 4 yet so don't quote it to me).
I am also a fan of Lost and anything on the Food Network
Food is fun and while I love to try new things, I have some standby
favorites of food and drink... Eggplant Parm from Luciano's in
White Oak, Pizza Hut pan pizza with pepperoni and green peppers,
Moscato D'Asti, Framboise...
The six things I could never do without
tap dancing
sharpies
the internet
my mom
coffee
books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
if I should go back to school... PhD., Law School, another Master's
degree... what to do?
On a typical Friday night I am
I have no typical Friday nights... I can be found at PNC Park
watching our Pirates and hating Matt Capps, or at the bar with
friends from work or having dinner with my parents. I can be found
going out with the girls to dinner or going for a run at the gym.
Sometimes, I just like to watch TV with a glass of wine under a
blanket.
You should message me if
you think I'm funny
you think you might like to have some fun
you want to have an adventure
