I am smart, loyal, and sarcastic.

My Self-Summary

Hey there! I am a self proclaimed nerd who loves to read, go to movies, theater (musicals and the like), art museums, and hang out with my friends. I also like football (Go Colts) and IU basketball. I love to travel and since two of my best friends live out of state, I get to do that a lot. I like to cook and lead a fairly laid back, relaxed life style. I hate drama and want to avoid it at all possible costs!

What I’m doing with my life

Right now, I am working at the Children's Museum in Indy, but my goal is to go back to school and get a degree in history or something along those lines. I would love to work in a museum. My dream job would be to be one of those people they interview for the History Channel programs. I know, such high aspirations!

I’m really good at

lots of things! I am a good listener. And I am a good friend. I am really good at reading a situation and taking the appropriate steps to avoid conflict. It all goes back to the avoiding drama thing.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have curly red hair that everyone says they would love to have. But really it isn't very fun. It just gets frizzy and uncooperative not matter what I try to do to it.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love anything Jane Austen (movie and books), Harry Potter (movie and books), Lord of the Rings, Wizard of Oz (it is my favorite movie of all time), and any sort of crime, mystery solving thing (The Oceans movies, The Italian Job, Bones, Criminal Minds, Patricia Cornwall, etc). I love when there is a problem and a solution and I need to figure it out. As far as music goes, I love showtunes (seriously) but I also love James Taylor, Tom Petty, Billy Joel, CCR, Beatles, John Mellencamp, Eagles, Led Zeppelin. Basically all stuff from before I was born.

The six things I could never do without

1. Books
2. My family/friends
3. My Bed
4. Music
5. My cat, Pippin
6. My Birks

I spend a lot of time thinking about

a lot of different things. Right now, I am trying to figure out why I can't sleep. I also spend a lot of time on the books I am reading at the moment.

On a typical Friday night I am

Honestly, I am usually having dinner with my best friend, her parents and grandparents, and sometimes my mom or another friend joins. Then we go play cards. Usually Euchre. Saturday nights are usually my going out nights, but even then, it is usually just dinner and drinks or a movie with friends. I don't like bars. Too many people.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am slightly crazy about how I eat my food. Nothing can touch and I usually eat it in a cerain order. My friends and family consantly make fun of me for it.

You should message me if

you are a lowkey, down to earth, smart person with a bit of a geeky side who doesn't mind that I am perfectly content to spend a weekend night at home watching movies rather than going out and getting crazy.
