My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've just picked this whole thing up again, sort of like trying it out for a second time.

To be perfectly honest, I'm a little nerdy. I love to read and have been stuck in a few fantasy series over the last few months. If I'm not in the middle of a book that I absolutely have to finish, I like to do a little research for myself about whatever has caught my attention for the time being (lately it's involved time travel and theoretical physics and I don't understand a bit of it).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've just graduated from university with a B.A. in History. Grad school is the one thing I'm trying to work toward, but there are a few other plans in the works, just in case. One of them includes moving to another country to teach English. Probably.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
school, actually. I've been doing it for so long, it kind of just comes naturally at this point.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not a clue. Maybe that I tend to crack jokes, whether it's an appropriate time to laugh or not.

Or that I can't see very well, which I assume is because of my wearing glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books? That's a hard one. My top three books are: Phantom Tollbooth, Picture of Dorian Gray, and Brave New World. I really like Alan Moore graphic novels and just finished the Song of Ice and Fire series. I also have a thing for sci-fi (Dune, Ender's Game, etc.) And I'm always taking recommendations.

As for my favorite movie, it's Almost Famous. Second is probably Jurassic Park. I have apparently not seen a LOT of movies that I probably should have, so I'm working on that bit by bit.

For television, the only show I watch rather religiously is Doctor Who, everything else just comes and goes. I've also recently come to the realization that I will absolutely watch anything having to do with cheesy science fiction, and it's not always to my benefit.

My favorite music spans a lot of different genres. I really love Pink Floyd. Bright Eyes is a close second. Also included: Rise Against, Old 97s, The Clash, Bon Iver, Avett Brothers, and any 90's alternative.

Food? I'll try almost anything once, I think. As long as it looks edible... but I really will not eat octopus again; it's disgusting.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Books
2. Books. (just for good measure)
3. My close friends
4. My favorite pair of Chucks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The universe and how vastly, ridiculously large it is.

Also, the amount of history this planet has; it's really just astounding.

Did you know that, on a historical timeline, we are closer to Cleopatra's time than Cleopatra herself was to the creation of the pyramids? Blows my mind every time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually working, and then meeting up with friends for a drink or four.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes prefer books to people. Sad but true.

Also, I have 5 tattoos, none of which are visible if I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

OR if you can answer one question: If you were Godzilla, what would be the first place you would destroy? (Tokyo is not an acceptable answer)
