I'm a warm and funny human with all the whistles and bells of thus far a fabulous life. I have raised my kid, had various careers, lived abroad, loved hard and am still hopelessly optimistic. That is not to say that I am not up for a rousing debate of almost anything I have an opinion about I just tend to lean toward the half glass full ideology.

I have an amazing group of friends that I love but if I'm going to have dates I need to branch out. This is what I'm doing here....branching.

What I’m doing with my life

Attempting to meditate and enjoying my amazing friends. I'm also honing my diverse skill set in preparation for the looming post-apocalyptic future (I've decided that Canadian zombies will be nicer thus easier to kill).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The Top 500 Poems is the most referenced book in my house. I have to admit that I have not been much of a reader lately. Authors I love are Victor Hugo, Gabriel García Márquez and Stephen King (yeah I know not so haughty is he?) My favorite movie is actually a tie between the Princess Bride and the God Father. I'm a sucker for science fiction, comedy and dark twisted farces. I LOVE music - currently I am having a deep love affair with Tom Waits. Gomez is sexy. Siouxsie is my hero. Elvis Costello has a genius tough to rival! And....I'm currently shaking my booty to LCD Sound System.
