Isn't something I get to decide really, is it?
But, if i must: I'm creatively minded, and there is basically no
point in the day where part of me isn't thinking about making
something, or figuring out how to improve my ability to make
things. People tell me I'm talented, in a lot of different
I disagree somewhat, I'm practiced in a lot of things, but never
felt I had talent, and certainly never felt i had focus. As a
result, I'm at best, a jack of many trades, and my brain is
constantly bouncing between things. At any given point it is almost
certain that one part off my brain is thinking up something new to
make, and another part is darting around finding patterns, or
interesting shapes, or how something is put together, or what font
a sign has, or an interesting hair style, or nice shoes...
Unless you are incredibly engaging, the chances are I'm only giving
you half my attention at any given time, the other half having been
reserved for running circles in my own head
What I’m doing with my life
Presently, I sell cameras. Occasionally I use them too, freelancing as a photographer,.amongst other things. In fact, i dabble in everything from illustration, painting, sculpture, photography, design, film, sometimes even writing, though i feel that my affinity lies more towards the slightly more spontaneous nature of visual arts, and less in prose.
I’m really good at
Depends on whom you ask it seems. If you ask me, nothing, but I'm
decently capable at a variety of visual art disciplines. Textiles,
Sculpture, Photography, Film, design, illustration, Painting, I'm
not sure i could ever consider myself REALLY good at any of them,
as I'd always be fully aware that I'd be much better at one were I
to focus on it, and ignore the rest.
The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently, My accent. Despite the fact that I've never left
Australia, I'm constantly asked where I'm from...
and recently, My glasses and eyes, apparently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This would be a VERY long list.
I watch a lot of foreign films. I now find it difficult to watch
things in english without subtitles, as I've trained myself to
listen to inflection rather than words, and get the dialogue from
Top three Favorite books are The Book of Lost things, Wicked, and
Current Favorite TV show would be the BBC Sherlock, save for the
fact that I don't entirely feel like it should count three episodes
every few years isn't really what comes to mind when i think
Favorite is a toss-up between Old Boy, and How to Train your
Dragon. I recognise how disparate those options are.
The six things I could never do without
Honestly, this question can go blow a goat.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Telling Stories, Creating emotions, Communication of ideas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lamenting the fact that Typical is a suitable description.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
There is nothing that is true that I am unwilling to admit, if
You should message me if
You are interested in Literature, Film, Art, Fashion and
Photography. Anything creative really. I am worthless at small talk
and rarely entertained by anything else. But once I latch on to
construction and creativity, It's hard to shut me up.
