My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
There are 4 things that you should know about me. I love to read (and I read a lot), I'm afraid of heights, I enjoy golfing, and I once carried out groceries for Dick Clark.

I was born and raised in Fargo/Moorhead, and moved away for college. After that I moved around a little and lived in Brainerd, MN and St. Cloud, MN. But I came to realize that Fargo is home, and so I moved back a few years ago. About that time I decided to go back to school and graduated last summer. I now have a job that I love, and it's never boring.

Aside from that, I'm pretty laid back. I like to relax with friends, just hanging out, going bowling, or golfing. I enjoy some good TV shows (and let's be honest, some not so good ones). And I love going to the movies (although I find that I don't go as much as I should). And I think one of the best things in life is a really good conversation.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated with a second bachelor's degree last summer, and now I'm working at my dream job. I'm an internal auditor for a local company. I'm sure some people wonder why I would find that exciting, and if you wonder that, I probably can't explain it to you. But I will say I get to travel a little bit, it's always different, and it's never boring.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a really good listener. I know it sounds kind of lame. I wanted to say something like playing the drums or underwater basket weaving, but I think those are probably aren't that easy to fake (at least not for very long).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No really sure about this, since I rarely see myself enter a room (and I'm not in the habit of asking people what they noticed when I did walk into a room). I will say it's probably my smile. It's a little crooked, which I kind of like.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My two favorite books of all time are The Forever War by Joe Haldeman, followed by Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I also really like John Sanford, Jim Butcher, and Lee Child. I love finding new authors that have 4 of 5 (or more) books I haven't read yet (it's kind of like Christmas).

There are a lot of shows that I watch religiously, but only a few that I get really excited about: Bones, NCIS, Castle. I also really like Supernatural, Warehouse 13, and Suits.

And as I said before, I haven't gotten to many new movies lately, but my favorite movies of all time are Grosse Pointe Blank and Boondock Saints.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I'm doing for the rest of the day. What can I say? I'm a planner (I'm an accountant after all). But I also spend a good amount of time thinking about the book/TV show/movie that I just finished, and what book/TV show/movie I will consume next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am out with friends, having a drink and arguing about something stupid.
