Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently accomplished one of my long-term goals of graduating and
getting a job in the bay area. Next up is paying off my student
I just moved to the area and am looking for new friends and people
who can show me the area, maybe some nice hiking trails or
My username comes from one of my favorite samurai movies: "Man is
born crying. When he has cried enough, he dies."
-The character Kyoami from Ran.

I've lived all over the country: California (12 years), Washington
(5 years), Texas (5 years), and Missouri (7 years). I have no
roots. I'm a houseplant, capable of being shifted from location to
location. Part of my goal is growing strong enough to perpetual
transplant to the outdoors.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I went to school for Computer Science so that I might someday
create the world's first AI, and bring on the technological
singularity. I recently graduated from Missouri State University
with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and work as a
Software Engineer at IBM.
I am always trying to improve my programming/coding skills and am
gaps of knowledge for a handful of others. Portions of my work is
visible on nearly every page on the Missouri State University
Aside from code, specifically, I try to be a Renaissance man, and
love exploring new branches of knowledge, or expanding my current
skills in various fields.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving problems and breaking computers.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I'm wearing shorts, I'll get comments on my calves. I've been
riding bicycles since the age of three and have the muscles to show
Another often noticed is how much time I spend in front of a
computer (6-14 hours a day).
I also get a little worked up when people do something illegal or
wrong and get away with it. I have been told on more than one
occasion that I should be a cop.

TV Shows: Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek (all), Stargate SG1,

Food: Mostly Italian. I'll eat pretty much anything except unripe
tomatoes, and I love craft brews.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In a whimsical sense:
1. internet (with computer, of course)
2. either glasses or contacts (+supplies)
4. the occasional peace and quiet
6. camera + film
In a practical sense:
3. either glasses or contacts (+supplies)
5. a blade or tool for defense and crafting other essentials
6. raw materials like wood, food to hunt or gather
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The computer programs I'm currently working on, side projects, and
the ones I always have going on at work. I live and breathe code.
If you were to cut me, I'd probably bleed out binary numbers.
I also get engrossed in whatever my current obsession is, whether
that's researching photographic techniques, or whatever major
purchase I'm considering (cars, cameras, etc.).
Life, goals, and how to achieve them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably at a coffee shop. I don't go to the bars much any more, I
prefer to stay at home most nights. I will often be engrossed in
some programming project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It wouldn't be private, then, would it? ;)
