I'm a very unique person. Let me tell you a little bit about me:

I love tattoos. I have a few and I'll probably get more. I have my nose pierced on the side. I love rock and metal. Loved it since the 3rd grade. Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, and Deftones are my absolute favorites. Also a huge fan of Disturbed and Korn. Can't stand pop or rap or R&B... yuck. I love rock and metal concerts, the outdoor ones in the summer are the best. Its my favorite thing to do, I've probably been to over 200 concerts. Nothing like having a cold beer in one hand and throwing up the devil horns with the other...

I am very close with my family and I consider my parents my best friends. They live just a few miles away from me so I spend a lot of time with them. I have a black cat named Spooky and a Siamese kitten named Pearl so if you don't like cats you won't like me! I'm a lead-foot. I'm a neat freak and a girly-girl. I have more shoes and makeup than you could shake a stick at and I spend hours in the bathroom.

The flip-side to being a girly-girl: I'm pretty laid-back. I've been told that I'm a "guy's girl"... meaning I'd rather grab a beer and play a game of pool than have an apple-tini (or some shit like that) at a pretentious club. I'll sit on the couch, yell at Monday Night Football, and burp with the rest of you guys, but I'll be doing it all in stilettos...

I also swear like a sailor. I have no clue where I got my dirty mouth from.

I'm a huge Cubs fan. While most girls are out shopping, me and my best friend are parked in front of the TV watching the game. For five years, I lived 1/4 mile from Wrigley... its one of the few things I miss about city life.

In case you didn't notice, I am plus-size so if you're not "down with the thickness", please move on down the line. Bonus points if you get why I put that quote. That said, I'm EXTREMELY confident with being a full figured woman. I'll rock a two piece at the pool with no shame at all. I disagree with society's view of "perfection". I admire women like Marilyn Monroe who drove men out of their minds with her size 14 figure.

Truth be told, I'm high-maintenance, but I'm self-maintenance, meaning I don't expect anyone else to take care of me. I've worked hard for everything I have and all I expect from a guy is to be able to say the same.

I want to settle down sometime in the near future so I'm looking for someone who wants the same and isn't scared of commitment.

If you're looking for someone to hook up with or who is going to put out on the first date, don't even bother contacting me. I am most definitely a sexual person but sex is meaningful so it won't be shared with someone I barely know.

I love a man who is good with his hands. Someone who knows what he wants out of life. Someone who wants a woman, not a girl. Someone who is honest, faithful, loving, affectionate, and hard-working. I find dedication much more attractive than intelligence.

I bought a condo and moved to Gurnee a year ago. Before that I lived in downtown Chicago for five years. I graduated from UIC in 2008 with my bachelor's degree in elementary education and an endorsement in science. Some day soon I hope to use my degree and start teaching, but the market for teachers is tough at the moment, plus I'm happy where I am. I've been a manager at a large car dealership for over five years and I love my job. I'm very independent and hard-working.

My dream for the near future (within the next 5 years?) is to buy a big house in the country, settle down with the man of my dreams and have a couple of kids.

Being around kids, make-up, writing, talking, dancing when I'm wasted, interior decorating, being creative. I am NOT good at cooking...

First and foremost: my HIGH HEELS... my Lexus, cell phone, Marlboro menthols, Macbook, iPod, DVR, and makeup. Hah hah, got away with eight.

My future. I've got every aspect of my life figured out besides the relationship part. I spent the last ten years in two long-term relationships that didn't work out. I spent 13-18 with the typical "high school boyfriend" and then almost immediately moved into another five year relationship from 18-23, getting engaged a few months into it. The entire relationship ended up being a five year lie. Seriously. If you want the dirty details, ask. Needless to say I have trust issues and I won't tolerate liars, cheaters, or guys who think verbal or physical abuse is acceptable. But two good things came out of all that shit: I never had kids and I have a nice engagement ring to use as a trade-in when I do find Mr. Right :)

Relaxing at home after work or rocking out. By rocking out, I mean just in general. I pretty much rock out wherever I am.
