I just moved to NYC to start my new life as an adult human. I'm in Alphabet City.
If all of my plans work out, I'll end up being a funny person professionally. I'm in an improv and sketch comedy group at BU, and I took Improv 201 at UCB this summer. Starting 301 in the winter.
What I’m doing with my life
Freelance writer for a few different websites, performing sketch and improv, getting on that school grind.
If you're freaked out by the fact that I'm a vegan, don't be! I get that everyone's diet is their own personal choice- I won't punch you out if you order chicken on a date. If you try to convince me that I should eat bacon, I will.
I’m really good at
writing, talking with people. Generally adept at walking and eating
but fall/drop food occasionally. I'll get there.
The first things people usually notice about me
1. I'm tall- and no, I don't play basketball
2. My sense of humor
3. I have an extra pair of arms and legs
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Rubblebucket, Ben Folds, OAR, Dispatch, Barefoot Truth, Kanye (that fits in, right?)
I am also constantly listening to podcasts. I burst out laughing while walking a lot.
My favorite foods are Mediterranean and Indian. Plus the classic crunchy hippy places. Those kinds of restaurants treat a vegan girl right.
I just finished Master of None, and loved it. I also am a fan of 30 Rock, My Mad Fat Diary, Maron, Parks and Rec, Broad City, and Comedy Bang! Bang! I dig strong female characters. (And people, for that matter.)
GGG, for any Dan Savage fans out there. Also ENFJ. Acronyms!
The six things I could never do without
deep talks, chocolate, podcasts, netflix, exercise, lists of six
I spend a lot of time thinking about
things that I find funny. Feminism. Why so many people seem to hang out with others who don't make them light up. Let's light stuff up! (You know, figuratively. Because setting stuff on fire is illegal.)
On a typical Friday night I am
going to a show, hanging out with my friends, last minute trying to
find someone to go to a show/hang out with
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I feel like people in our generation are harder to connect with- everyone is always waiting for better plans and constantly checking their phone. Just make a plan and be in the moment!
I also have a FL profile.
You should message me if
you're looking for a lady with a good sense of humor, and actually want to hang out in real life sometime! Or you want to talk about kink. Or food justice. Or social justice. Or comedy. Really, if you have interesting words to say at all.
