My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
*Update: In August I'll be moving to Spain for 2 years to get my MBA. I feel like that's something people might want to know...

Dual citizen of US/UK (grew up in the US and don't have an accent...sorry... actually, not sorry at all!), I think being down-to-earth and having a good sense of humor are massively underrated.

My friend's will probably tell you that I'm laid-back, happy, optimistic, funny, even-keeled, really considerate, and the only person they know who likes English soccer - which I think is pretty accurate.

...and I'd also like to think I'm a pretty cool guy too. (not sure why my inbox isn't blowing up after that line...)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finding the shortest distance between my current career path and leading a simple life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being able to look like a local whenever I travel abroad.

Oh, I'm also really good at soccer. Seriously, you want me on your team.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm all over the place in terms of music but I'm not afraid to admit that my favorite band ever is Blink-182. (cue the judgmental comments)

I really like movie trailers for some reason. Sometimes they're just better than the movie.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) An appreciation for having won the lottery of life. The fact that I've never had to face the issues you hear about in other parts of the world just because of where and when I was born is both incredible and absurdly unfair. Oh shut up already! No one wants to hear that prattle.

2) Coffee
3) My Kindle (nerd alert!)
4) The phrase "Your stay includes complimentary breakfasts."
5) Common courtesy
6) A well-rounded and, more importantly, a well-intentioned sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how I can secretly fit Taylor Swift and One Direction lyrics into work emails/conversations to amuse myself... And apparently no one else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
using up what little energy I have left from the week and relaxing - probably in bed by 10:30... which is probably why I'm single, now that I think about it haha.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you're laid-back, genuinely nice, cultured, not a snob, and not self-obsessed. Basically, if you're a decent / self-reflective person we'll get along really well.

you want to help me tackle every decently-rated restaurant in Zagat's 2014 Boston guide and aren't too embarrassed to go on a duckboat tour.

... or you look at some of the profiles that come up as "matches" and you just burst into tears. Then I'm cool with you messaging me too.
