My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Probably the most stressful thing in my life is keeping pace with my New Yorker subscription. I'm ok with this.

I do ashtanga. I miss the redwoods. I know the secret lefty handshake. I cook-- a lot. I dabble: a recent Sunday morning. I generally don't know where I'm going. But I'm ok with that, too.

Every day I pray for snow. How about it, jesus??
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just made a big career hop to int'l diplomacy-- overseas bound. Thanks, taxpayer! Before that, silicon valley startups. And before that, a year in St. Petersburg. You know how they say Russia is cold? It is.

Like half of DC, I did this thing called the peace corps. I didn't exactly have a blast but it was, you know, life changing. Unlike all of dc, I don't have a law degree.

I pay too much for yoga, so free things are good, too: biking, swimming, tennis, lunchtime frisbee. According to my personality tab, Staff Robot thinks I am a jock. Funny joke, Staff Robot.

For some time I owned But I'm a grown-up now and mustn't engage in such tomfoolery. It's up for grabs if you want it.

I'm also newly addicted to coursera.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting lost. Exploring. Jump-throughs. Remembering to clean out the lint thingy in the dryer. Packing. Learning languages. Forgetting languages. Braising. Setting off my smoke detector. Scuffing my shoes and losing my umbrella.

I have pretty nice clavicles. Seriously buddy, my eyes are up here.

On the flipside, the first thing I usually notice is that you got my name wrong.

I am, as the french say, le bookworm: Black Swan Green, Middlesex, Gatsby, The Little Prince, Siddhartha. Vonnegut, Steinbeck, Saramago, Junot Diaz, Gary Shteyngart, Bill Bryson, Michael Pollan. Calvin and Hobbes?

Fan of symphonies, harmonies, and folksy guitar. I will listen to pretty much anything live.

I just discovered that Season 3 of Archer is on netflix. Fist pump.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
sunlight, trader joes, public parks, movement, words on paper. Also, pants.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New and filthy ways to violate avocados. How to be good at stuff. How to be good. How to maintain an indoor herb garden. Symmetry. How to fool people into thinking im norwegian.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
at happy hour, yoga, or the pool, then home to recharge.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was in India a couple months ago and I brought back a couple hundred bucks worth of tea.
