I am a nerdy Canadian currently living in New Zealand with my partner and looking to meet people to make this new country seem a little less lonely. I am really into alternative health and wellness and am currently doing correspondence classes for Holistic Nutrition. My sarcasm is plentiful and I easily shift between being a wallflower and the life of the party. My skin is pierced and tattoo'd but I am traditional in a formica countertop sort of way. I consume more media than is probably healthy but with high bandwidth costs in New Zealand it has gone to a much more healthy level. I adore independent cinema and art house films that make you think and cry. I often feel like I am too serious for my own good and hope to learn how to go with the ebb and flow with more humour. I am constantly striving to improve, but don't require you to be.

Learning as much as I can about as many things as possible. Trying to navigate being in a new country and all the intricacies that comes with that. And just trying my best to smile as much as possible.

Music: Mostly indie rock but my tastes are very eclectic

Food: Indian is by far my favourite but I have a love affair with Mexican every now and then

Laughter, good food, distraction, art, music and books.

Food, recipes and cooking. Trying to figure out new recipes is a fun challenge as I am not as good a cook as I would like to be.

Being lazy at home as I have yet to really sort out the nightlife here in Christchurch.
