I am fun, happy, and exciting.

My Self-Summary

I love talking to people, dancing, playing music and generally having fun. I am a Paramedic by trade, and my biggest strengths are my ability to listen to people, and my willingness to be there for and help anyone who needs it.

What I’m doing with my life

I am part owner in a web design company. I also teach martial arts and dance. My main occupation is as a Paramedic.

I’m really good at

Well... I love talking to people, finding out who they are, what they are like, and how they are inside. I love being near people, and learning about them.

Being a Paramedic, I also have a reasonable knowledge of how the body works, as well as general medicine.

As for music, I play both piano and guitar. I tend to stick to more fun, modern pieces, but can play almost anything if I have the music, or just try to wing it.

I am involved with a social ballroom dance group. This means swing, waltz, cha-cha, and many other dances have become a regular part of my life. I love it, and love helping others to learn as well.

I teach martial arts in Charlevoix. I've been doing martial arts for about... oh.... 11 years. I enjoy both the martial art itself, the chance to teach others, and the fact that it keeps me in shape.

The first things people usually notice about me

People tend to notice my eyes, physically. Other than that, I hear a lot about how I am easy to talk to. I hope that is true for any of you who decide to say hi.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:

-Tuesdays with Morrie
-The Art of War
-Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Movies:

-American Beauty
-Requiem for a Dream
-PS I Love You (I'll admit it)

Music:

-Regina Spektor
-The Decemberists
-Iron and Wine
-The Shins
-Colin Hay
-Shaggy
-Snow Patrol
-Avril Lavigne
-Death Cab for Cutie
-Poison
-Queen

The six things I could never do without

1. Music
2. Friends
3. My Computer/Internet
4. Tie Dye (haha)
5. Piano/Guitar

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think a lot about people. Not so much specifics, but about what makes them tick. I can read most people and how they are feeling by looking at them, which usually gives me plenty to think about.

On a typical Friday night I am

On a typical friday, I will probably get together with some of my friends and we'll go out for lunch, or go to wal-mart and have fun. Later that night, I help out with a dance class in Charlevoix, and try to make plans for the coming week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I enjoy many movies and musical artists that are generally considered "girly" Yeah, stuff like Avril Lavigne, The Notebook, PS I Love You... I'll admit it, I don't care.

You should message me if

Message me if you want to talk. If this is a friend, then great. If it's more, that's fine too. I'm up for pretty much anything.
