My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a Shakespeare-obsessed theatre nerd. Theatre, visual art, music and writing are all my attempts at understanding the world around me and the amazing people in it. Lately I have also been really getting into the concept of permaculture and can't stop thinking about herb spirals, food forests and my dream garden. There are a million things I want to explore and do in this world! The salty state of Maine is a part of my soul.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Rocking out to the new Robert Plant album, fixing shit, helping stuff grow, baking bread, working on a painting, thinking about my next Halloween costume, planning the next season for my wee little Shakespeare troupe and enjoying this excellent place and the fine company in it!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, playing Scrabble, being a pal, making bagels, quoting Shakespeare, giving (and receiving) back rubs, saying the things (for better or for worse) that everyone in the room is thinking but doesn't say, wearing leather jackets, looking at the ocean (or Lake Michigan, for the time being) and the sky, drawing pictures...I love making plays happen.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My swagger. The fact that 90% of my life is spent thinking about Shakespeare.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Mostly I just carry around an apple crate of Shakespeare related nerdology around with me wherever I go, but I also enjoy classics of all kinds, the poetry of Hafiz, and of course, Game of Thrones. I also love Salmon Rushdie, Dostoyevsky and Gabriel Garcia Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude, and other wonderful things that veer off into that direction!

In my world Christopher Nolan is a major deity, (the man can do no wrong in the world of cinema/screenwriting) but I also have all the time for Miyazaki films, Harold and Maude, and dorky period adaptations of Jane Austen books any day of the week. Absolutely anything with Philip Seymour Hoffman in it.

I don't usually watch a lot of TV but I adore RuPaul's Drag Race above all things. And Star Trek. All the Star Trek.

Tunes...Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Muse, The Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, Nick Drake, Alexi Murdoch, The Beatles, The Who, Matchbox 20, Counting Crows, Green Day, the Goo Goo Dolls (Let's just admit it-the 90s kicked ass)...Peter Fox, Seeed, Lady Gaga, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Iron and Wine, Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, MGMT...and I also love classical music, especially Beethoven.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends-they are amazing!
Bagels. With cheese.
The ocean.
Being able to write, draw and paint. (that all counts as one, right?)
Victoria's Secret.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Shakespeare and how to bring theatre into communities, how to run a non-profit without starving to death, writing plays, what I can cook for dinner that is going to be tasty, and all the amazing things there are to learn about and do in this world! Thinking about light and color in landscapes, forms and figures. Wondering about dreams and thinking about what they could mean and how to live my life to the fullest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wishing I had a pug to snuggle with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Arachnids are freaky shit.
