I grew up in Philadelphia and relocated to DC for work. I spend a lot of time playing ice hockey and running, reading, and try to volunteer. I come from a huge family -- when you include my siblings, their spouses, and their kids it equals twenty one people -- that I visit with often as well.
I'm loyal to a fault, although that could be a virtue or flaw depending on the situation.

Working as an attorney for the government (like everyone else in DC) and otherwise just enjoying myself. I started taking carpentry classes because I'm tired of relying on other people to fix stuff for me. I help out at a friend's vineyard often (I'm a wine novice -- I do a lot of "grunt" work).

Swimming and running. I'm a very active person yet horribly uncoordinated, so I'm not really "good" at any sport. I just try real hard at things, like crossfit. Also pretty good at putting my foot in my mouth at the worst possible times.

I'd like to think people would notice my baby blues, but my friends tell me it's the fact that I'm really, really pale. Even in the summer.

Shows: Family Guy, Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and of course any series on HBO, AMC, NatGeo, or the Discovery Channel.

Music: a little bit of everything. DKM. Flogging Molly. The Black Keyes, Edward Sharpe, Muddy Waters, LCD Soundsystem. Alt-J. Smoky Robinson. Wu Tang/RZA. Johnny Cash & George Strait.

Movies: too many to list. But I usually watch action or comedy.

Books: I read mostly nonfiction; I started a history book club at my work.

Food: Italian, Mexican, Sushi. I'll try anything once. I've also been (unsuccessfully) trying to teach myself to cook. I've learned the hard way that hot sauce can fix almost anything.
