My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright, I think I need to change this up to try to be a little bit more clear on who I am. So here goes...

First and foremost, I'm a country boy at heart. I was brought up in rural Nebraska in the middle of nowhere, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. When most kids were playing Atari (ok, I'm old...sheesh), I was tossing hay bales, branding calves, riding horses, or fixing fence. It's a good work ethic to have, and it made me who I am today. I have manners, treat people with respect, and open doors for people. "Sir" and "Ma'am" were part of my vocabulary well before joining the military. I may have transplanted myself into city life and traded my horse for a harley, but there are some things like the country morals that I will carry with me forever.

I guess I'm a hybrid between an executive and a biker. I know, it's an interesting mix. I do tend to separate myself from my work when I'm off the clock, and I LOVE to go try to get lost on a winding highway whenever I can.

Last but certainly not least, I'm on here looking for the real deal and not simply a hookup. I know everyone has their horror stories from sites like this, but it seems like guys get painted with an awfully wide brush. I'm not the other guys (which is probably exactly what the other guys say). I can only hope that you give it a try - you might be surprised at what you find!!

If there's anything else you want to know, just ask!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
There's no way to make my job sound sexy, so I won't even try :) I'm a Policy Analyst/Project Manager for the federal government. I'm lucky enough to work out of a home office, but do have to travel from time to time. I have a very intellectual job, so when I leave work I like to kind of let loose a bit as far as being serious. I'm a jokester, love casual conversation although intellectually stimulating is fun as well.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job, making people laugh, analytical thinking...I'm sure there's more, but I'll leave it at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most of the time it would probably be my quick wit. I'm not really sure though...I've never asked anyone. If we ever meet, remind me to ask you so I know...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like anything written by James Patterson (but not co-written, those tend to be lackluster at best), I love all types of movies, but prefer comedy types. I'm serious enough all day I like to cut loose a bit with what I watch.

Food? Anything. Music? Totally dependent on my mood. Lots of classic rock, some country, some hard rock, but rarely rap. My iPod is a virtual cornucopia.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good friends, good food, cold beer on hot days, good music, and of course a well-maintained motorcycle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to have the best life possible, and what I need to do to get there...

Where to go next...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It really depends how the work week was. Usually I like to go out, maybe visit a few hole in the wall bars, meet up with the guys for drinks, or just go for a nice evening ride.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I guess time will tell...

You want to get to know a nice guy and be treated with respect (whether chemistry or friendship happens), I'm down for that...can never have too many friends.
