My self-summary
This has been an interesting ride thus far...I guess perhaps I've not been as good at communicating as I should. One day I'll learn :)

I think I'm a pretty good guy, and I'm looking for a pretty good woman to compliment that. It's simple, really - I'd like to have somebody to laugh with and have fun with. Nothing is as great as it is when you're doing it with a person who "gets" you.

I'm a relatively busy professional kind of guy, which is why I'm on here. Don't let all of the bike pictures fool you, those just happen to be the times when cameras or phones have been out. I definitely keep my work separate from my personal life, and tend not to talk about work a whole heck of a lot (I'm a policy analyst - it's boring stuff).

I'm a believer in friends first. A lot of people on here seem to want to move really fast, and I've found that doing that isn't necessarily conducive to a real relationship. I'd like to hang out and get to know someone first - it's always good to meet more friends if nothing pans out, right? Why put on all the pressure?

If I've reached out to you, I'm sincerely interested and something in your WRITTEN profile piqued my interest. If you don't have much in your written profile, then take it as a compliment that I found you attractive enough to try to start this dance. Yes, I read profiles...it's a sickness.
What I’m doing with my life
There's no way to make my job sound sexy, so I won't even try :) I'm a Policy Analyst/Project Manager for the federal government. I'm lucky enough to work out of a home office, but do have to travel from time to time. I have a very intellectual job, so when I leave work I like to kind of let loose a bit as far as being serious. I'm a jokester, love casual conversation although intellectually stimulating is fun as well.
I’m really good at
My job, making people laugh, analytical thinking...I'm sure there's more, but I'll leave it at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
Most of the time it would probably be my quick wit. I'm not really sure though...I've never asked anyone. If we ever meet, remind me to ask you so I know...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like anything written by James Patterson (but not co-written, those tend to be lackluster at best), I love all types of movies, but prefer comedy types. I'm serious enough all day I like to cut loose a bit with what I watch.

Food? Anything. Music? Totally dependent on my mood. Lots of classic rock, some country, some hard rock, but rarely rap. My iPod is a virtual cornucopia.
The six things I could never do without
Good friends, good food, cold beer on hot days, good music, and of course a well-maintained motorcycle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to have the best life possible, and what I need to do to get there...

Where to go next...
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends how the work week was. Usually I like to go out, maybe visit a few hole in the wall bars, meet up with the guys for drinks, or just go for a nice evening ride.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–41
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to get to know a nice guy and be treated with respect (whether chemistry or friendship happens), I'm down for that...can never have too many friends.
