I'm an aspiring writer with a tendency to do something if it makes for a good story. I pick up writing work where I can to get a little closer to my dream of traveling the world as a nontourist. This paragraph is choppy, and I'm fine with that because I feel honest and true people are not comfortable with talking about themselves.

Writers: Hemingway, Kafka, Brunner, Fitzgerald, Dickens, Bradbury, Verne, and Steinbeck. I understand that most of these readings were probably required reads at one time or another, but their sense of adventure and illustration make them the best writers of the 19th and 20th century.
