Hey, I'm Brad. I'm just going to throw out a few quick things about myself. You didn't come here to read, right?

I grew up in the area, moved away to get my Bachelors at Lehigh and then again for my Masters degree at Georgia Tech. As I was looking for jobs last spring, I realized that all of my family lived here, and that my closest friends were here so I moved back this past fall. Its been great so far, but I'd like to meet some new people who I enjoy spending time with.

I'm a design engineer so I get to build new electronic gadgets all day. I enjoy it immensely and there's no feeling like the one you get from making something yourself.

Besides that my personal goals are just becoming a happier and healthier person. I've achieved my material goals for the time being, so other things are taking precedence.

Also, I'm in the market for a new car and have no idea what I want. Suggestions?

I do everything I can to be a great person. I think I've gotten to at least "really good".

My job is to be a world class expert in exploiting patterns in data to pull out the underlying information. I can probably fix any problem you have with anything that plugs into the wall or has a battery.

I'm also pretty good at and enjoy playing the ukulele and sailing.

I'm going to flip this question around a bit. The thing that makes people take notice of me is usually a sharp and witty remark.

How about some that I think are pretty kickass? I do love all the traditional, nerdy stuff here (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc.) . But these are a few uniquely awesome ones

Books: The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Rough Riders, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (ongoing), Foundation and Empire, Dune Messiah, Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

Movies: A Shot in the Dark, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Seven Samurai, District 9, Life of Brian, Reservoir Dogs

TV Shows: Psych, HIMYM, Parks and Rec, The League, Archer, Venture Bros., Game of Thrones

Music: How about albums instead of artists? Tales from Topographic Oceans, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Rubber Soul, Atom Heart Mother, Thick as a Brick, In the Wake of Posiedon, Brothers in Arms, In Through the Out Door, Pet Sounds, The Raw and the Cooked

Food: I'm a steak and potatoes man. Especially "Bradley's Special Potatoes" that only my mom can make. Nothing will ever beat it, even though many dishes try very hard

Well to start with the obvious, my friends and family

Netflix - I've loved getting to see so many new shows/movies

A good sound system - it just makes music much more enjoyable for me

My Taurus - its been with me through a lot, it'll be bittersweet when I replace it

My toolkit - it gets used basically everyday for some reason or another, plus it helps me build cool stuff like my electric bass

Finally my collection of cloth-bound classic literature - no words are needed to explain that one

People, ideas, my relationships with people, where I'm going to find myself, what I'm working towards.

Hanging out with my friends in some capacity. Usually hanging at someone's house, or at a bar.

I'm fine with snakes and spiders, but I have to summon some courage to face mockingbirds and raccoons.
