My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Bradley. I do things.

I don't mean that in a vague "I'm too lazy to come up with better details" sort of way way, but rather to express a generic enjoyment for doing things. Many things. A variety of things, even.

I want someone who does things, too.

Active things. Cycling, hiking, running, tennis, and extreme water sports. Well, maybe not that last one, but I'm willing to try.

Lazy things. I want someone to watch TV/movies with. Someone who can enjoy a rainy day and not think a day spent lounging is a day wasted when you're with the right person.

Spontaneous things. Someone that wants to get pulled out when they are only 70% sure they want to go out. And someone that will pull me out when I am at 70%. Someone who isn't waiting for something to find them, but rather one that wants to go out and find it.

Foodie things. Someone to cook with. Someone who loves great food and great wine. At a bare minimum someone that would be at least slightly embarrassed to eat Spaghettios. Not that I'll judge you if you do…

Other things. Someone who shares my love of exploring and my love of music. Someone who wants to travel.

I want someone confident enough to put my arm around her when she needs it. And someone that will teach me to learn when she'll need it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it! One cliche at a time! Developing my career. BLAH BLAH BLAH professional shit.

I'm a designer. Specifically an interaction designer. If you want to know more, ask.

I'm also a soccer referee and enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, working out, cycling, and doing other active things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Coming up with crazy descriptions for wines. One recent one smelled like horses*** and tasted like a burnt Jolly Rancher. Seriously.
- Cooking. I don't do it as often as I'd like, but when I do I always have the bad habit of cooking a fancy meal. Always a success? No, but usually it works out.
- Mario Kart.
- Directions
- Remembering random bits of information
- Cycling (no, not winning any races)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'll have to tell me! I have never really thought about this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
MUSIC: St. Lucia, Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, David Gray, Ray LaMontagne, Mumford & Sons, Gabe Dixon Band, Florence & the Machine, Norah Jones, Matt Nathanson, Bon Iver, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones. Honestly, putting any list here seems rather arbitrary. There's so much music I love and I enjoy getting exposed to new music every day.

TV SHOWS: Game of Thrones, The West Wing, Community, Big Bang Theory, House, Fringe, Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls, Top Chef. That's just a random selection. There's probably some sci-fi shows that could have been on there. What can I say? I can be a nerd sometimes. Bonus points if you don't mind (or are a little nerdy as well).

FOOD: Everything. I eat healthy so that I can enjoy things when I can. If I had to list a few favorites: sushi, a good grass-fed steak, thai, indian, tapas. And wine. Delicious wine.

BOOKS: A Song of Ice & Fire (Game of Thrones, etc.), cooking books, Edward Tufte books, and many more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Good company
2. Good food and good wine
3. My bicycles
4. Music
5. Beautiful scenery. Seriously, living in Vancouver you really appreciate it.
6. Good wine (yes, worthy of being listed twice)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A design I'm working on. Health and fitness. Dark chocolate. Coconut…

…sorry, began thinking about dessert there for a second…

A big Europe trip.

Lately I have been thinking a lot more about our entire food ecosystem. Local, organic, and slow food movements mean a lot to me and represent where I think our system must go if we want to avoid the major health problems that are facing our society.

But that's enough seriousness for now, so...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking wine and/or enjoying a nice dinner. Always a good way to finish the week off. Even better if it's with good friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If you get to know me, maybe I'll tell you. :P
