My self-summary
Note: Just moved from NY recently and riding the awesome waves of culture shock. Looking forward to meeting some people to show me the LA experience.

The first thing you’ll notice about me is that I can’t sit still. I have a propensity to move quickly through everything in life, so be sure to bring comfy shoes. Any given weekend you’ll find me pinballing my way across town, from art galleries to newly opened restaurants to live shows. To say travel is a passion would be an understatement. I've been known to put myself in plenty of death-defying circumstances, and I have a dozen other grand travel schemes likely to shave years off my life span. My determination to experience new cultures and meet interesting people has driven me to live in Hong Kong, Japan, and soon, Paris. When I do need to rest my engines, I’m most relaxed when I’m rock climbing. There’s no better way to clear your mind than when you’re suspended 100 feet off the ground.
What I’m doing with my life
I was told by someone on this site that "pediatric neurologist" sounded too fancy (must be all those syllables), so let's go with "baby brain doctor"
I’m really good at
the Arrested Development chicken dance.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Johnathan Latham, David Sedaris. Michael Chabon, Murakami Haruki
Music: LCD Soundsystem, Swedish House Mafia, Velvet Underground
Radio: This American Life, Radiolab, Sound Opinions
Movies: Scorcese, Tarantino, Anderson, Miyazaki

When I was young there was an ice cream truck that would serve flaming hot cheetos with that fake nuclear yellow nacho cheese sauce over it. If New York chefs find a way to turn this into haute cuisine, I'll have found my perfect food.
The six things I could never do without
Rock climbing shoes
Non-exploitive dealers of sold-out tickets on Craigslist
A Boston shaker
diverse and slightly neurotic friends
a record store
