My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll level with you right here, right now. I rolled low for Charisma. Like, an 8. You can tell because I'm communicating this in RPG terms despite knowing that most people wont get it. But that's ok, because I prefer the people that do.

If the above paragraph isn't clear enough, I'm a huge nerd. Or a hipster with a hell of a denial complex. Either way, most things about me fit into a box labeled "GEEKERY" in large black letters. Things like "knows how to assemble a computer" and "writes D&D campaigns featuring enemies which are actually living pastries" comprise a large amount of this box's contents, but there's also a bit of "brews his own beer" and "thinks denim rolled to the knee is an acceptable fashion statement" representing another good chunk of space. I've been called odd before. Yeah, "odd" could be my summary all on its own. But I'm hopefully exaggerating.

Day-to-day, though, I'm a normal enough guy. I get up early and go to work where i design computer systems that keep chemical plants from exploding. I probably eat too much pho and drink too much iced coffee during the week. I go running after work to combat the excess calories gained from said pho and coffee. I really enjoy gaming online with my younger brothers who live too far away for me to see as often as I like. And I like to read before bed.

I'm looking for someone to be real with. She likes road trips, hiking, cooking together, dumb movies, and will possibly force me to learn to dance.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in an office. I'm working on reading the whole of Wikipedia. I go on long drives. I run a lot. I've played many new and interesting board games recently. I just started learning to code in Python. But mostly, I sleep. Really. Like, 6-8 hours a day. I've also recently began fencing. With longswords. You know, knightly stuff. It's fun and it's great excercise!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Navigating. My friends say I'm a homing pigeon.

I also have a talent for cooking developed to support my eating habit.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have blue eyes, heavy framed, tortoiseshell glasses half of the time, and size 00g holes in my ears. I suspect those are the winners most often, but my odd, somewhat loud laugh can generally attract a lot of attention too.

But maybe it's just that I'm funny looking. You be the judge.

I've developed a Vonnegut habit. So it goes.

The last movie I really enjoyed was Moonrise Kingdom. It's a bit quirky and odd, as most Wes Anderson films are, and I enjoy that. It was also nice to see Bruce Willis playing a character for once.

Rick and Morty is all I've kept up with lately. It's really great, so you should too. And I really liked The Clone Wars animated series. Had to brush up on my canon history before the new film releases, so I binge watched the whole thing.

Economic simulation board games by European designers, mostly. This is not a joke.

I usually say I'll listen to anything, but you wouldn't know that if you looked at my play history and saw the days worth of play that The Black Keys "thickfreakness" album has gotten recently.

Homemade fish tacos, chili, BBQ, and just about anything spicy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There isn't anything I couldn't stand to lose really besides the basic components for life, but if I had to choose ( in no particular order):

road trips
printed books - ebooks just don't satisfy.
tea - Sweet nectar of the gods...I may have a problem.
soft pencils - to get the shading just right on all my doodles
musical instruments - I'm no good, but that's half half the fun!
A well seasoned cast-iron pan
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why my feet are cold and how much better life would be if they were warm.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I like to go out for drinks and food truck dinner offerings. I also really enjoy playing boardgames with friends. Sometimes though, I just want to sit on the couch and share a six pack with someone while watching progressively more strange YouTube videos.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my ears is slightly lower than the other. It makes my glasses sit slightly crooked. So I wear contacts.

Really though, I tend to over-think everything to the point of nervousness. The bravado and ego are just a front I put up so you can't tell. Mostly. Usually.

If you aren't "laid back". Eager or excitable people are way more fun. Ask me out for tacos and margaritas. It'll almost always probably work.
