My self-summary
I used to have a summary, but I've decided that this absurd video is better.

Autotune > biography

But I guess I should say at least a little bit. My name is Trey. I'm a calm, quiet person and I spend a lot of time inside my head. I like to sing when I'm sure no one is listening. I like to be outside in nature even in poor weather. I dedicate a large portion of my time to learning and I consume news articles, documentaries, and books voraciously. I'm currently studying brewing (as in beer) and my first brew is in the fermenter. I'm also an aspiring bowyer, but good wood is hard to come by around here. I tend to make jokes out of everything. I rant about people sometimes. I have a cool head most of the time except while I'm merging into 4pm traffic. Ok, that's enough seriousness. Back to making a my regular, goofy self!
What I’m doing with my life
I work in an office. I shoot bows. I go on road trips. I work out (yes, bro, I lift). I've played many new and interesting board games recently. But mostly, I sleep. Really. Like, 6-8 hours a day. Oh, and the newest thing I'm doing is getting ready to go back to school. Hopefully for a real engineering degree this time.
I’m really good at
Navigating. My friends say I'm a homing pigeon. I have a good sense of direction and a vice-like memory, so I memorize maps and routes quickly. I'll admit that this skill tends to break down in unfamiliar woodland though. The last time I experienced this I was following a feral hog trail that faded in and out in the dense ground cover. I had to wander till I found a fence. Bit embarrassing really.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have blue eyes, heavy framed black glasses (sometimes), and size 00g holes in my ears. I suspect those are the winners most often, but my odd, somewhat loud laugh can generally attract a lot of attention too.

But maybe it's just that I'm funny looking. You be the judge.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Right now, I'm reading "A Farewell to Arms" by Hemingway. I worried that I wouldn't like it much when I got it, but the style has definitely grown on me.

Movies:
The last movie I really enjoyed was Moonrise Kingdom. It's a bit quirky and odd, as most Wes Anderson films are, and I enjoy that. It was also nice to see Bruce Willis playing a character for once.

Shows:
Adventure Time and Game of Thrones are all I've kept up with lately, but I tend to watch a lot of cartoons as well. Judge me all you like, I think animation is awesome and I'm not changing my mind about it.

Games:
I play a lot of Grand Theft Auto V with my brothers. We all live kind of far apart, so it's a good way for us to enjoy each others company. I also like board games. A friend of mine got me into Settlers of Catan and it's just snowballed from there.

Music:
I like a lot of different styles of music, but lately I've been alternating between just two bands. Die Antwoord and The Lumineers. It's odd. Die Antwoord makes me want to dance and The Lumineers make me want to sing in public. I think they might be driving me insane...

Food:
I like basically all of the food. Seriously. But if I had to pick a favorite thing, I'd probably go with pork tamales with a bucket of hot salsa.
The six things I could never do without
There isn't anything I couldn't stand to lose really besides the basic components for life, but if I had to choose ( in no particular order):

road trips
printed books - To hell with Kindles and Nooks!
dark tea - Sweet nectar of the gods...I may have a problem.
soft pencils - Because H/HB is clearly inferior to B.
musical instruments - One man band, baby!
mexican food - If you can make tamales, I'll buy your ring asap.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about some really odd stuff. Sometimes, I think about what it's like to not think about said stuff, but that usually results in an existential crisis and I'm forced to read really depressing poetry to make myself feel better. Ok, not really. But the idea amused me, so I decided to share.
On a typical Friday night I am
My "Friday" is actually on Thursday! And I usually kick it off with pizza and beer at The Bull and Bear, my regular pub. Feel free to pop in some evening and drag me away. But you know, figuratively. Kidnapping is a third date activity after all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my ears is slightly lower than the other and I have an indentation on one of my fingers from lots of writing and drawing.

Really though, I tend to overthink everything. Especially conversations with people I don't know well. It's like a social chess match for me. So if we meet and I seem quiet, I'm probably just weighing my words so I don't say something dumb or awkward.
