My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Grew up just outside Detroit, went to school on the east coast and moved out to LA about 6 years ago. I've been living and working in DTLA for the past 3 years. I'm pleasantly surprised with how my life has turned out so far and excited to see how the rest of it goes. Love to learn and experience a bit of everything. When I used to go into bookstores I would always try to find interesting books in every section. I like being able to have a good conversation with someone in a dive bar or a fancy club.

"Dating in LA can be difficult. It's tough because there is so much choice, so many beautiful people. I would have been happier in medieval times. In the middle ages it was just easier because you just lived in a small village, you didn't know there was another village, you never left. You just married whoever was in your village of a similar age that wasn't dead yet. They were simpler times. You didn't worry about what you were wearing and you weren't going, "how's my breath?" Everyone's breath was terrible because the harvest failed and they had to eat their dogs. There was no gum. You didn't go to restaurants. You just met a woman on a wednesday, you were married on a friday, and she was having kids by the following tuesday. You had to get the kids out before winter came because they'd be all gone by then, you knew you were going to lose 3 or 4. But it was happier times, it was simpler times. And you just lived happily ever after until, in a dream world, you both got the plague and died. That was the best you could hope for, that was a beautiful marriage." - Steven Merchant on Conan,

I like being around people that laugh, even at their own bad jokes. Or just people that smile when they think that no one is looking, that is one of my favorite things to catch.
