My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
From the suburbs of Seattle. Sick of waiting tables. Listener of albums from beginning to end. Knower of the names of leaders of foreign countries. I have a guitar and a bass that I rarely play. I eat pizza more than I probably should. I quit smoking AGAIN. I've never been able to do a magic eye. My favorite flavor of ice cream is mint chocolate chip. I don't drink coffee.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm open to suggestions.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Memorizing information, logical problem solving, making myself sound boring.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Over times, various jokes of varying funniness have occupied this space and now I'm just going to answer the question: red beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books - I try to be reading something non-fiction and something fiction at all times. Currently, that means The Omnivore's Dilemma and Great Expectations.

movies - I like to go see movies in the actual theater. I like to see stuff that is "supposed to be good" more so than Hollywood blockbusters.

shows - I grew up watching too much TV and continue to have a soft spot for sitcoms. Seinfeld, The Simpsons and South Park are all favorites. I'm currently re-watching Friends and I am surprised at how funny it still is. I also like West Wing, 30 Rock, Archer, How I Met Your Mother and Modern Family.

music - Last year's top five: Frank Ocean - Channel Orange, Jessie Ware - Devotion, Tame Impala - Lonerism, Japandroids - Celebration Rock, Converge - All We Love We Leave Behind. Not necessarily in that order.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If "important moment" music plays while some character gives an "important moment" speech in a movie, I'll usually feel moved no matter how dumb the situation is.
