My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Care-free, progressive, open-minded, adventurous and easy-going; yup that about covers the clichéd self-summary words.

Thus I am an open and honest person with a desire to experience all life has to give. I gravitate to people with a passion for life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Grabbing as much of life as I can handle and trying to not let it go, or get overwhelmed. I am reading more, triathlon training, teaching myself guitar, cooking even more and exciting dishes and making films.

I am head of new media at an advertising firm working on films, TV commercials, websites, print ads and conventions. The job my be stressful but if anyone asks, I tell them I am like Don Draper, except I don't own a gray suite.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving and resourcefulness. I am an autodidact and enjoy a challenge. I do my best work when I am passionate about a project. If I don't have something to work on, well that is when I get into some mischief...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My exuberance, my energy and active positive personality. I love the sound of a really thorough laugh.

I can talk to anyone about anything. I am not a know it all, rather enjoy the exchange of ideas and experiences.

Tell me a story.

Though I am something of an omnifetishist, I shall pick the top:

Book: The Picture of Dorian Gray I never imagined there could be a downside to immortality and the human condition. The Hobbit is simply brilliant; a perfect story through and through. I read Plato's Republic my last semester of college and was amazed at how 2400 year old thinking still rings true.
Movie: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is a noir film (my favorite genre) with perfect comedic timing and cartoon zaniness. LA Confidential is another perfect noir film, but much darker. I would list all the other noir films but having the two emotional extremes is enough. The Gold Rush because Charlie Chaplin is my idol! He is the answer to all the questions: deserted on desert island, go back in time, meet in heaven etc.
Show: Arrested Development, The Venture Brothers, Mad Men those are all pretty self-explanatory... Though I must give a nod to Kings and Deadwood. If Ian McShane read the dictionary I would listen to every word.
Food: My own homemade apple chicken curry, a recipe I created, a chicken salad pesto wrap or some good ole fashion home cooked shepherd's pie like my mom used to make. I love to cook.

But if I was being honest, there really isn't much I don't like or enjoy. Aside from something over-the-top shocking or down right offensive and crude, I can and will enjoy any book, music or film. Even the occasion piece of art can tickle my fancy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good food, good wine, good friends, Sammie, a creative and challenging project to work on, and this old ratty hat I have had for over ten years.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My purpose, the nature of life, what I could be doing better, and that one story I need to get out and tell the world.

I live in the moment and now I am trying to learn to love the journey not at the expense of the destination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing, reading or drawing ...

Or a beer tasting.

Or on the couch binge watching a TV show I am behind on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a false tooth. It is step one of my multipart transition. I am living in a the very late pre post-human epoch and when the machines raise, I shall embrace them as brothers from another mother(board).
