It's been a rough day at work - let's order some thai and watch some netflix! Or catch up on this week's House, 30 Rock and Mad Men!

I currently work in the bioinformatics deptartment at a cancer center at a local hospital. I do computer stuff. :)

Turns out, tossing stuff into boxes games. Like beanbag toss, washoos. This is a relatively recent discovery.

I honestly have no idea.

Books: some sci-fi, some non-fiction, some general fiction, some history. I read a ton of books, so it would be best if you just ask me. 8) But some favorites include stuff by Jared Diamond, Neil Gaiman, Neal Stephenson, Richard K. Morgan, Vernor Vinge, Wm Gibson, Dan Simmons, China Mieville, World War Z, Landsburg, Levitt, HG Wells, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, or just about anything anyone's ever recommended to me. This section is NEVER up-to-date.

Movies: Children of Men was great, Little Miss Sunshine, Gladiator, Contact, Silence of the Lambs, Office Space, Eternal Sunshine, Dude Where's My Car...There's a lot of favorites...Ghostbusters was a recently rediscovered classic. :)

Music: Lately all I really dig is the White Stripes. The Killers and The Bravery are good (they do sound nearly alike). Other than that, the usual good alternative rock stretching back into the late 80's and through the 90's. And a lot of trance music - actually helps me concentrate. I'm not into the scene, just the music.

Foods: Hamburgers, sandwiches, sushi, Indian, Thai, whatever I feel like whipping up. I like to try new things.

There's the obvious ones that are a copout (friends, family, food, air, water, etc) So I'll go with:

Books, Dr Pepper, Light Bulbs, Internet (I don't know how I did without it before!), Hiking Shoes, 2 pillows (not 1), Space Heater at work

Yeah that's 7. I deserve a bonus item.

Life, the Universe, and Everything. :) I dunno. I'm introspective. I think about everything. Especially about why FOILER isn't a valid scrabble word. What the hell?

Going out to a bar with friends, or maybe a movie. Or just hanging out with friends, playing games or watching some sporting event.
