My self-summary
Well let's get the big thing out of the way first. I don't believe in premarital sex. I mean I believe it happens just like I believe you could balance a toaster, a waffle iron, and a hotplate on the rim of your bathtub to have breakfast in the tub - sure it's theoretically more convenient but it's also kind of risky, ridiculous, and generally not the best idea. Sure you might end up with a lovely 3 course breakfast but more likely you'll end up with soggy waffles and you might even manage to get yourself killed. Basically it's a lot of unnecessary drama and risk that I'm not looking for. If you are sorry, this is the wrong place. If you think you can convert me just believe me it will not work - tonight or three years from now it will be the same. And no, dying a virgin doesn't bother me, I have considered becoming a nun.

Sorry, better to be upfront now then get your hopes up.

I am a fairly happy Catholic. My life is hard (no really), it gets me down at times, but I keep plugging away and typically bounce back after a few days. I am serious about my faith and like who I am as a person. I have a Masters in Anthropology and specialize in Forensic Anthropology but have a solid background in Native American Studies. My undergraduate minor was Psychology. The majority of my youth was spent in Pennsylvania and I have a love of nature which stems from that. I like to go camping in the woods. I have a large number of interests and tend to know a little bit about everything. Currently I am finishing the complete novels of the Bronte sisters (Only Shirley and The Professor remain) which I have enjoyed a good deal for the most part - the less said about Agnes Grey and Villette the better. I am somewhat social but I prefer small groups to large gatherings and one-on-one to that. For some reason children and dogs seem to love me - the former, I suppose, is why I sub. I realize this sounds dull as dirt but I'm working on it as a profile.

What I’m doing with my life
Getting the third degree.
I’m really good at
Playing card games - seriously, I warn you I'm Italian and I will beat you in Rummy... unless you are also Italian, then it gets tricky.
Also I can cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh, it's a bit unusual... and loud - everyone in the room notices it. Kind of a squeek.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My all time favorite movies are: Watership Down, The Secret of Roan Inish, The Shawshank Redemption, and really anything Don Bluth.

Books: Watership Down (kinda a duh there), surprisingly I liked "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon", Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, the works of the Bronte sisters, and many others that I will add when I think of them.

Music: What can I say I'm a Springsteen fan, also Jimmy Buffet, and The Clarks

Foods: I'm a big fan of Italian and Polish. I like Primanti's Brothers (a Pittsburgh resturant chain) and good soups.
The six things I could never do without
God, food, Sleep, shelter, water, trees
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Various things, preferably interesting ones but occasionally mundane.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing something... don't know what, generally I don't plan that far ahead... I guess at some point I go to sleep no matter what Friday it is.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I guess, like many other originals here, that I joined because I had a moderate addiction to tests on thespark.com and was so wanting to take the new one that I was willing to join a site that I never even heard of. Oh well, live and learn.

Also I know the entire original version of the "There once was a man from Nantucket" limerick - it's clean, squeeky clean actually. I took the time one day to learn it.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 24–44
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You feel like it, you don't mind talking to a Christian, you aren't terribly shallow as a person (so boring), if you have any reason to, if I already messaged you and you're reading this attempting to figure out who in the world I am - then you definately should :)
Or if you want to know the real words to that infamous limerick.
