I guess I'm not all that good at describing myself so here are some of my interests: traveling, hiking, camping, yoga, photography, going to concerts, being outside, reading, eating, drinking, laughing, and trying new things. I love nature, art, music, culture, books, tea, and people.

I moved to DC/Arlington from Wisconsin about 2 years ago, got my Master's in Museum Education from GWU and got a job doing environmental education.

Books: I read a lot of books and try to switch off between fiction and non-fiction.
Movies: I like comedies, indie films, etc... not big into action blockbuster stuff. Also I've been Netflixing some good shows lately like Weeds, L Word, Conchords, Chuck and Dexter.
Music: Music is kind of impossible for me to tackle in this little box. I'll do a quick shuffle and see what pops up: Lauryn Hill, Peter Tosh, Murs, Thievery Corporation, Psalm One, Iron and Wine, Strangefolk, Ditty Bops, Sigur Ros, Beastie Boys, Syd Barrett, White Stripes, Grateful Dead, Spooks, Gomez, Atmosphere, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Danger Mouse, Portishead, Andrew Bird, Punch Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, Brother Ali, Jose Gonzalez, Regina Spektor, Guster, Moody Blues, RJD2, Kanye West, Ben Harper, Elliott Smith, Jay-Z, Bjork, Widespread Panic, Beck, Saint Germain, Feist... I think that's good for now.
Food: I pretty much am a big fan of food in general but try to be somewhat healthy most of the time.
