Here's a break down of some of what I'm about:
Loyalty: Looking out for "Clan" and family is everything. It could
just be a Scottish thing. Not that another heritage can't be that
way, but it seems that it's part of our DNA.
Giver: I'm the guy that shows up to help folks move in the rain and
volunteers for the airport run, coming and going.
Romance: Flowers on Valentine’s Day, a well thought out/unique
Christmas gift and a New Year’s eve kiss are things that are just
gonna happen. Otherwise, it happens when you least expect it. I can
be pleasantly unpredictable.
Handy Man: Trained and Certified Massage Therapist, play the
guitars/keys and sing, all around tech nerd, avid story teller. In
general if it's sore, doesn't "go" or things get dull - I can fix
Problem solver: A pretty regular mental game I play and If I'm not
solving one for myself, I'm running a thought experiment on
problems bigger than mine. I almost have that Mid-East Peace thing
Humor: Can't get enough. Love to dish it out and love to take it. A
day without cracking up about something is unacceptable.
Healthy living: Serious enjoyment of physical activity and balanced
common sense eating. Though there will be cheesecake! I can always
do better, but won't let myself do worse. The plan is to do 100
plus and to go down fighting.
Hobbies: I'm into exploring the great outdoors in nature and inside
the perimeter. On two feet or two wheels makes no difference. There
will be swing/salsa dancing and trips to the park to throw the disc
Balance: It's everything. At this point in my life I've learned to
weave all of the above and more into a positive thing for myself
and those around me.
..., but enough about me. At this point I'd rather hear something
What I’m doing with my life
Working at a job that I would probably do for free, building a one
man multimedia empire and having a great time in general.
I’m really good at
Problem solving, thinking through complex issues, cheering up the
down, managing pain and stress, remaining calm in difficult and
dangerous situations. Communicating with children, including the
ones that are decades old.
The first things people usually notice about me
Sense of humor, entertainment value, quiet confidence
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Silly to try and narrow this down in this little box. Ask me in
person and I can fill an casual evening out with the conversation
we could have.
The six things I could never do without
Apple computers, BMW motorcycles, clean water, Informational TV,
great music, guitars that feel a part of me, some time out in the
wilds of nature and comedy! Oops that was 8. The people I'm close
to in life aren't things to me, so they're on a different list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The hows and whys of human behavior and how to solve the most
challenging problem of all.
On a typical Friday night I am
with friends or burning the midnight oil on a project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
On the internet for all to read? How about - The most private thing
I am willing to admit is that I like my privacy and respect the
same for others. I know, not very private.
You should message me if
you found this profile attractive and interesting, if you are
genuine, like conversation on a wide range of topics, are good
company for the movies, Martinis and iMax, swing/salsa dancing, and
eating out in unique out of the way places or even "flair hunting"
at more average joints.
