I am an unusual person in that I am passionate about what I believe in and I follow it to the hilt. I have a strong commitment to innovation, justice and quality work in medicine. I am extremely creative in what I do to the degree that I am putting my professional life on the line. I have broad interests and intelligence over a variety of disciplines. I have significant accomplishments in education, finance, and now hopefully in public health medicine combined with urban planning, and information technology. All these successes are counter-intuitive and very nontraditional. I am working on a paradigm shift in the realm of preventing and dealing with chronic diseases. I am making progress.

I do not lack for insight and incisiveness, but I am patient, concerned with others and gentle.

Although I am soft, sensitive, and vulnerable, I have a wicked sense of humor, and have a way of nurturing women.

I am bright, passionate, and very hard working. I am intense but laid back.

Addressing a critically important public health problem in the USA with my own systematic and creative initiative. I now have a consulting engineering who will help me realize what I propose. Hoping to get a major city or university campus to serve as a location for information technology tool to encourage walking. Also working on the reform of the financing of American medicine. No one will be disappointed to listen. I am beginning the third phase of my medical career. Yet, I am searching for a sensuous feminine complement that is lacking in my life.

Keeping my stomach flat and firm.

Working with and mentoring independent intelligent well educated gifted women who find it a challenge to deal with the complexities of modern life and careers. I do this with a great sense of humor. I got this expertise by developing a leadership program for another country and the people who emerged were mostly women much much younger than I. I still do this.

I would want to be in a more reciprocating and freer relationship with women quite a bit closer to my age.

I am terrific in thinking outside of the box.

I am thin, tall, fit, bright, charming, and energetic. People do not believe my psychic or physical age. That I run up stairs. swim laps, or work up information technology solutions, etc.

I do not carry or have a cellphone, blackberry, or PDA of any sort, do not text or SMS and am focused on the person I am with and the here and now.

I am currently reading the Molecular Biology of the Cell by Alberts. My favorite books are Tom Jones by Henry Fielding, The Red and the Black by Stendhal, and the Iliad by Homer. But I have read very much of Dostoevsky, Kafka, Mann, Lewis, DH Lawrence, not to mention ancient history, European early modern history, and European prehistory.

I like film classics. Red Beard by Kurosawa. Kurosawa is a long time favorite. I am behind in my cinema viewing. But Red, White, and Blue, Babette's Feast come to mind. Also Italian comedies; and such Italian films as 1900. Mafioso, Also the French: My Father's Glory and My Mother's Castle both by Pagnol. Recently seen films like Katyn, Gleaners, and A Very Long Engagement have been excellent. These films are not for the squeamish or the sentimental.

Classical music, chamber music, liturgical music, Schnittke, Shostakovich, opera both for the music and the show. World music especially: South African, Gypsy, South American. Some Jazz

Any cuisine is fine with me. Tend not to eat Chinese. I am an excellent cook and often cook Indian. I tend to prepare food from all the basic ingredients and eat very healthy. Make my own curry powders.

I have found that many women here cannot handle a man fluent in another language.

The purpose of my being here is to meet women in real life. There is no point in exaggerating one's characteristics or achievements. Such behavior here is only a waste of everyone's time.
