My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like wine and things which aren't wine that are wine-flavoured.

I work in a theatre doing publicity. This means I'm excellent at self-promotion. If you're reading my words and feel yourself falling for me quickly, now you can prevent it.

I spend a lot of my time creating new projects and experimenting with different ideas. I play music (you can hear a couple of recordings on www.goodchristiangirl.bandcamp.com), I write (currently obsessing over a novel for the past two years), and I try to surround myself with happy, refreshing personalities.

I'm a former American-person, having lived there (in homeschooled bliss) for eight years. You know how homeschoolers have a reputation for being slightly strange? I can vouch that it's not just a stereotype. But you know, it makes the world more interesting.

In some ways, I’m a complete cliché of the modern hipster, hippie, new-aged vegetarian scenester. But at least I know it, so that’s some small level of redemption. Except it's not, is it?

I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, especially when they’re passionate about life. People who go against the grain, or aren’t afraid to have a unique worldview are always a pleasure to meet.

I want to just exist in an honest and happy way, enjoying music, festivals, cafes, and random little arty events throughout the city. It’s always a pleasure to meet new people and see the world through a fresh pair of eyes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working for a theatre, writing stories about sentient muffins and camping with friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding something fascinating about somebody. Everyone has some sort of amazing story unfolding in their life, and I get a real rush out of piecing them together.

I can also play a guitar song about any subject. This is often tested.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's tricky. I have fairly ridiculous hair most the time, so that must be a candidate.

Impending sense of optimism
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Art, projects, writing, stories. Random things I've read. TED talks. The best way to avoid detection if I was secretly an undercover spy. Whether Woody Allen is an optimist or pessimist. Whether a 'normal' relationship actually exists. Why Jeff Goldblum doesn't get more film credibility.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing's typical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to have a pretty bad stutter, but you wouldn't usually notice now. This is because I strategically avoid words which start with certain sounds, or words which end in places which make following words difficult. I've been doing this for so many years that I can rearrange sentences without really thinking.
