My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hrmmm.... perhaps a list of categories will suffice. If not, I shall likely change things at some point.

I'm 28, a college graduate with a BA in History and English, an AmeriCorps*VISTA alum, an atheist, a comic book fanboy, a gamer (Video games, tabletop RPGs, WOW, board games), a skilled public speaker and persuader of the masses, an appreciator of plays and musicals, a semi-active member of my local Democratic Party, a music buff and a Seattle Seahawks fan.

I'm not quite sure what else to say other than that I hope that I am not found boring and that this profile succeeds in helping me to meet interesting person-types.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm residing in a little old house in McMinnville, living quite happily with my beloved roomies. I've been trying to find work, but haven't had much success, so I just can find odd things to do to make money when I can.

I'm finishing up law school at Willamette University in Salem where I'm interested in governmental, constitutional and criminal law.

Other than that, I mostly hang out with friends, play various games and work on not going crazy in law school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Public speaking, arguing, writing, being the "funny guy", talking about whatever, playing games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my size, my hair and that I look like a viking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I'm really into comics (thus proving I'm a total dork) favorites including Watchmen, Sandman, Green Lantern, Transmetropolitan, Preacher, Dark Knight Returns, Sin City, Kingdom Come, The Earth X Trilogy, Y: The Last Man and many wonderful stories involving people in colorful underpants beating the crap out of each-other. On the prose side of things I really like 1984, Animal Farm, The Brothers K, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Neuromancer, Tom Robbins' novels, On Certainty, Call of Cthulhu, Catcher in the Rye, Jurassic Park, The Fan Man, The Ethics of Ambiguity, History Books, Play scripts, Shakespeare (once an English major...), Notes From Underground, Star Trek novels, short story anthologies.

Movies: Sin City, Fight Club, Star Wars, Star Trek movies, 300, Say Anything, Rent, Batman Begins, Lord of the Rings, Good Night and Good Luck, V for Vendetta, Thank You For Smoking, Serenity, Masters of the Universe, Kung Pow: Enter The Fist.

Music: I love music and it is kinda hard to do these kinds of list. My favorite band is Smashing Pumpkins, but beyond that it is hard to pin down. While I have been thinking about this I have listened to Les Sans Cullotes, Get Up Kids, Bad Religion, and Pink Floyd. I tend mostly towards indie, punk, some emo, and many other types of the Rock 'n' Roll, but I'm pretty open.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A Computer with interwebs
2. A substantial music collection
3. My beloved roommates, or some adequate replacement thereof
4. The ability to write stuff down
5. Caffeine
6. Comic Books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Many things, most of them some combination of nerdy, and opinionated.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, role-playing or doing something else fun. Occasionally I'll go out and do the partying thing, but that is fairly rare.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I didn't actually have a steady girlfriend until I was 19. I dated before that, but never really had a girlfriend (unless you count for 2 hours on a class trip).
