I work in the wine industry as a sommelier. It's a great career, and I feel really lucky to have found work in something I'm so passionate about.

My job. I'll be sitting for the Master Sommelier exam next year.

I also love to cook, and love being cooked for, or just helping with prep...and there's nothing better than throwing a party for friends or family.

I dunno! A quick, wry smile and maybe my hair. I am at least moderately charismatic and (I think) pretty good at connecting with pretty much anyone.

-Keeping my mind and body busy...travel and visiting new places, reading, hiking, studying, snorkeling. Not crazy, just a balance.
-My dog. I'm an animal person.
-Learning new things. From people, books, wherever. I'm curious. If you know how to do something well that I'm interested in, I'm interested in absorbing what I can.
-Downtime. Sleeping in occasionally, a relaxing day cooking, watching movies, etc.
-Going out; dressing up: restaurants, theater, opera, ballet, Slayer concerts, whatever.

Working, most likely. One of the downsides of work, at the moment. But only for another year or two, I hope. On my 'Friday' I'm either cooking at home or hitting new or old favorite restaurants with friends.

I have a Music Performance degree that I don't really use but will never regret.
