I have been vegetarian for a while now, though I am a terrible
cook. I do bake a mean cookie though.
I love a good debate and am fairly stubborn.
I love loud music and I love chasing around plastic discs. Both at
the same time is awesome.
I like playing with my DSLR.
I have the ankles of a 86 year old. And the sense of humour of a 6
year old. I love bad jokes.
I am really happy with who I am and where I am in my life right
now. I've been through a few careers and have moved around a bit
and I think I've found my niche.
I am Canadian, though I have lived in a few different countries for
extended periods of time now.
I suffer from a serious case of wanderlust.
I'm back at Uni after having taken a few years out to work.

checkers. (Actually, I suck at checkers. But that partial sentence
makes me think of that Demetri Martin joke. If you haven't heard of
him, you need to google him.)
I love my music. I do listen to a bit of everything, but am drawn
to punk rock and hardcore.
Refused, The
Bouncing Souls,
Have Heart,
Bane,
Comeback Kid,
Grave Maker... they make me
happy. I have a soft spot for (Pacific) Northwest Hardcore and
Canadian Hardcore. Otherwise it varies from
Beethoven to
Feist and
The Kinks to
New Order.
I read voraciously when I have the time.
Lolita is one of my favourites for its
amazing use of language.
Three Cups of Tea was
inspirational. I just scored
Confessions of an
eco-sinner at the used bookstore. Go me!
I watch a range of films, but cannot stand romantic comedies and
the like.
Mallrats is one of my favourites. So is
The Big
Lebowski. Love
Cinema Paradiso,
Hedwig and
the Angry Inch. I'm a big fan of 80s teen movies, like
Pretty in
Pink and
Ferris Bueller's Day
Off. Every now and then a cheesy comedy will sneak in there,
like
Super
Troopers (I can almost quote the entire film). And I just
watched
Anvil. I
loved it. Reminded me of
Spinal Tap, which is absolutely
hilarious.
I will eat pretty much anything, as long as it's veg-friendly!

overburdened with due dates.
