My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I never know quite what to write, so, let's call this a guesstimate.

I'm a 28 year old male, and I've just taken a new job in Evansville. Guess I'd like to try and meet some people, since I'm new to the area. Computer guy, as my day job, though I do freelance photography on occasion as well. I'm a bit of a mix, and pretty cool and well dressed for a self-described nerd. I'm kind, chatty, and come off more serious than I really am. Honestly, I love to laugh. I'm the elusive INTP (or architect) since a lot of people seem to know about those types on this site.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finally feel like my life is a bit settled. Have a full-time career sort of job, and have my own business as a sort of, backup plan\horizon broadener. Finally gotten my degree settled, even if it's just an associates. Lately, I've been trying to work out with solid regularity and get in shape, I'm a tad thin but still fit. I spend my free time doing painting, photography, reading, hiking, playing games of many kinds (mostly board games, occasionally on the PC) and studying science, art, and history.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Those are strong words... but I'm decent at; making cocktails, reading people, photography, having great conversations, teaching people photography, abductive reasoning (look it up holmes), being a human encyclopedia of useless knowledge, painting miniatures, making the right joke at the right time (sometimes the entirely wrong one), knowing different alphabets, getting people to open up to me, driving a stickshift, MagicEye puzzles, MarioKart 64.

If you can find, and understood the joke hidden in there, props to you.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually my eyes or my name, maybe my face? I'm often told I have very pretty eyes, which are sort of teal. I get told I dress nicely fairly ffrequently.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Cosmos, Emily Dickinson's collected works, Sherlock Holmes, The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings, Hacking The Art of Exploitation, Lauren Greenfield's THIN, EA Wallis Budge anything, The Fall of Reach, Douglas Adams books. I read a *lot* of computer books for the work I do.

Movies/Shows - Any Doctor Who. Futurama, Old Star Wars, Equillibrium, Lord of The Rings (extended), Star Trek, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Indiana Jones, Team America World Police, Iron Man/Avengers/Captain America, Top Gear, Constantine, Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, Harry Potter (esp. 3 and 5), Dodgeball, Parks and Rec, The Lego Movie, I mostly love comedies and action (I get enough stress in real life), more I will no doubt think of later...

Music - Lately getting into a lot of blues rock\folk\bluegrass (mumford, black keys, cash, white stripes, RL burnside, lots more!) I also enjoy what's called trip-hop or acid jazz, kind of a variety.

Food - There are lots of things I like, (suppose, things I don't like too) but I'll try pretty much anything. Seems like I never get sushi as often as I'd like though...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.Family and Friends 2.My mind 3.A computer or two 4.Books 5.Music 6.My camera
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
(In no order) Art, Peace, My Place in the world, Science, The future, Justice, People I care about, The environment, Trying not to convert to the dark side.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No idea! I don't know the area so I haven't really settled into a routine yet. I am liking the live music at Lamasco's though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, I tend to get along well with grad students and bi girls, though I am clearly neither of those things.

I'm not sure why I'm on this site. I met two incredible women on this site long ago, made great friends, maybe I'll get lucky and meet someone cool again. Never dated either of them, but I don't mind. We're close friends still, going on 6 years later.
