My Self-Summary

I was born and raised here in California and am a bay area girl at heart. I enjoy living here in the bay and I don't envision myself, at this point, living anywhere else... I consider myself a down to earth, go with the flow type of girl but that doesn't mean I won't tell you if I don't like something. I like to laugh and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Whether it's watching a movie at home and cooking dinner or making plans to go to a baseball or football game, or traveling out of town for the weekend, I find joy in making plans and having something to do rather than just sitting at home bored. However, don't get me wrong, it is nice to stay in and chill out once in a while too, having a balance is the key.

What I’m doing with my life

Though I have graduated from college I decided to follow my heart and become a nurse so that's what I'm doing now. I'll be taking the state boards soon to become an RN and though it has been a long journey to get where I'm at today, it was definitely worth it and I've met some awesome people along the way.

Being a good friend. I will be there for my friends and family no matter what.

I'm not sure on this one, but I guess I'd say my smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I really enjoy Italian and Mexican food but it's really hard to say that I have a favorite type of food because there are so many great things and I love trying new places to eat as well.

I enjoy listening to all sorts of music but mostly I'd say I listen to alternative rock, hip-hop and some country and smooth jazz is also nice too. It just depends on the mood I'm in as to what I want to listen to. I'm really bad at knowing who sings what when it comes to music, I just know what I like.

As far as reading goes I usually have so much stuff to read for school that I don't get read for pleasure often.

On a typical Friday night I am

Going out to dinner with my family or making plans to hang out with a friend I haven't seen in a while. No Friday night is truly typical for me, I sometimes get suckered into babysitting on a Friday night and then I sit there thinking- why did I say yes to this? But it's all good.
