Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have strong politics of the radical left variety. While quite
strong willed, I'm anti-dogmatic and a lifelong learner. My beliefs
change periodically and I recognize that what I argue for with
passion today, I may argue against in five years. If you can be the
catalyst for that change you will endear yourself to me for a
Relationship Status: Available = I'm in a drama free, open
marriage, and a couple of other amazing poly relationships. I have
life full of loving, caring, intelligent brilliant people, to which
I'm willing to add as long as it doesn't subtract (life is not a
zero sum game, monogamists take note.) If you'd like to date me,
please be exceptional, I promise you I am.
Things I enjoy: Planning dates and exploring this infinite city.
Photography. Affection. Justice. Weekday adventures. Galleries.
Free concerts. Outdoor theatre. Dancing. Baking. Home Cooking.
Magic (not the wizards and spells, but the kind where the total is
greater than the sum of its parts).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm changing the economic structure of the world by combining
anarchistic, small democracy approaches, doses of western liberal
capitalism, and good old social ecology
into a network of
intentional live/work communities. It's like the bastard child of
Karl Marx and McDonald's.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being an "alpha" male without being an a**hole.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm funnier than my profile lets on. (Much easier to "be"
funny than to "write" witty. )
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm an avid reader-- so instead let's list some books that define
me in some way:
Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler
My Uncle Oswald by Roald Dahl
One part Walden Two
by BF Skinner, one part
anything by Michel de Foucault
The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao
by Junot Diaz
by Laura Kipnis (The
title is sensationalist, it's not really "against love".)
* Apparently French theory has fallen out of favor with the
post-structuralist crowd ::: le sigh:: Your professors are wrong.
Individual consciousness and liberation doesn't preclude structural
change, it's a necessary but not sufficient condition for it.
My Music tastes range wildly. It's a tautological "I like good
music from all genres" problem.
Food and I are friends with benefits.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
2. A black Uniball Deluxe Micro pen, the pen *is* mightier then the
sword (If you have your own micro, you get serious
3. A metrocard
4. A library
(I'm being way too strategic about this...)
5. Other sane, intelligent human beings (is that like wishing for
6. A problem to solve. I'm a problem solver and a planner.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Big Ideas: How to Radically change the direction of our society
toward a vision of peace, equality, and balance? How to force
ourselves to deal with society's problems instead of throwing
people in prisons?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Despite music not being a major force in my life, I still remix
songs in my head. Badly. Geek-ily. Often-ily.

Though it's in no way a requirement, if you might be interested in
spending time with my primary partner (a female) and me please take
the express lane to the left. We regularly enjoy dating others, so
its not something new to us. We're not in sister-wife country, more
like friends++ territory.
