My self-summary
Trans guy.

I am currently working on a new novel addressing trans* people in NCAA or high school sports and college life in general. If you are interested in interviewing or sharing experiences, feel free to contact.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a full-time student studying creative writing and classical studies.

I row, run half-marathons, love Crossfit, road cycle, hike everywhere in Washington, and hope to start competing in triathlons.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh and being "that awkward kid". I tend to be the shyest person in the room until I get to know you and then I can be explosive with my personality.

I work hard and always push myself to the limit. My goal in life is to see how far the body can be pushed mentally and physically. It's hard for me to break commitments or quit in the middle of a job or project. Being stubborn and impatient are my excellent qualities!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love memoirs. Kaffir Boy, Never Cry Wolf, Red Azalea, Ultramarathon Man, and anything Stephen King.

I am a sucker for horror movies of all kinds. My favorite series is Nightmare on Elm Street (the remake sucks!). I love curling up and watching the cheesy recreation of Stephen King books. My favorite of those is Sleepwalkers. Otherwise I like movies with explosions, action adventures, and comedies.

I haven't watched TV since I came to college, only when I go home for a weekend. When I do watch the family gets together for Chopped, Top Chef, Man Vs. Food, Iron Chef America, and Ace of Cakes. Pretty much any food related show the Travel Channel and Food Network have to offer.

I've been in love with Melissa Etheridge. Brandi Carlile, Sick of Sarah, Tegan and Sara, and Chris Pureka are some favorites. Also anything adult alternative, rock, some electronic, a little screamo, and pop. My tastes vary day to day.

POETRY: Tara Hardy. Baboom.

On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing with friends and a movie, out hiking, or out on a long bike ride in the summertime. Nothing too crazy.
