My self-summary
Someone recently told me: "You're an adventurous handyman that likes to tinker with gadgets. Go get em."

So, here I am.

I'm a pretty introverted guy that's overtly self-aware. Very dry sense if humor. I enjoy listening to others. I spend two low-key days to every busy one. Very handy and mechanically inclined. Life-time dork.

Likes/Interests/Hobbies/Activites: 3D printing, astronomy and astrophotography, DIY, woodworking, photography and video production, bass, lifehacks, science (!), TV/movie, Reddit, aspects of design, architecture, and really lame dad jokes.reading, archery, mountain biking, music (play bass), exercise/staying active, disc golf, boardgames, pool (though I'm admittedly terrible), snowboarding, camping, boardgames, other nerdy activities (take a guess, you'll probably not be wrong), cleaning/organizing, and above all else, fixing/building things.

ISTJ. Is this something we're doing now?

TL;DR: Stuff about me
What I’m doing with my life
I work in Online Education.

I just joined the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers organization and looking forward to throwing some star parties.

I pick up new hobbies like nobody's business.

Next project: Utilizing my new 3D printer, parts from my first printer, and an arduino to make a robot. I just don't know yet what kind or what I want it to do, but suggestions are welcome.

I wish I could say I'm one of those people who could change the world for the better, but I'm not (atleast not from a macro perspective). Though, if my plans for world domination play out successfully I'll have to change this section.
I’m really good at
Anything mechanical, technical, or all around handywork. A jack of trades. Even if I don't know how to repair/fix/build something, chances are I know how. I'm just good with my hands.

I'm great at making a fool of myself at the most inopportune moments.

Being oblivious to flirtation.

I am pretty phenomenal (if I do say so myself) at NOT writing compelling dating profile summaries of myself that do a half-way decent job at selling myself to complete strangers.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, probably that I'm an open book, hold nothing back, and genuine. You can ask me anything and I'll probably answer truthfully with no shame.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
A hot shower in the morning.

Though I can go without it, I prefer not to: the interwebs.

Various forms of entertainment; Whether it be books, TV/movies, board games, etc...

Close friends to enjoy said entertainment with (and to put up with my shit [and vice versa]).

A project or hobby to be planning and/or working on. It's important to be keeping busy.

Tools for said project/hobby.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next [insert option from below] project.
- woodworking
- 3D print/design/prototyping
- Maker
- bassline

How things work.

Witty ways to starting off conversations with complete strangers through an awkward dating sites IM system. This should make it into my "not good at list".

Really lame dad jokes which consequently at times overlaps with the previous statement.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with a few of my friends or home reading or binge watching a TV show while working on a project. Either way, I'm finding ways to entertain myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Two things specifically: 1)I am much more like Ted Moseby than I care to admit. 2) I see my life way too often in Seinfeld episodes.

Also, I don't have a Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media account of the sorts (with the exception of this, obviously).

  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
... you're an incredibly nerdy girl who can geek out for hours talking about Sci-Fi, TV/Movies, boardgames, or just about anything you are super passionate about.

... you have a project you're excited about that you just have to share with somebody.

... you have an amazing dad joke that you just have to tell someone.

... you are kind of girl who wears a short skirt and a looooooong jacket.

... you're actually willing to meet up in person. No better way to get to know somebody than face to face.
