Hi all, I'm Vince! I'm sort of an odd combination in that I'm an engineer who really enjoys and identifies with art. When I entered college the plan was either electrical engineering or creative writing and I went for the one that pays the bills, though perhaps only for now. The general goal is to be slightly more awesome each and every day.

I've amassed a mixed bag of hobbies. I really enjoy music, and while not great at it, explore it a lot. I play guitar poorly and have a lot of other instruments and microphones lying around. I would also like to learn to draw, but I don't seem to have the dexterity for it. Being an engineer, I tinker a lot and have a lot of side projects and such floating around. Mad science is a definitive specialty of mine.

I would describe myself as fairly transparent and honest. I tend to do well in parties because I'm obvious and help to ensure everyone is getting along and am more than a bit outrageous and sarcastic.. When I'm in a more sincere setting though I likely come off as a bit intense.

I'm always looking for the next adventure and can't do things half way so I tend to have big successes or epic failures and few things in between. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone to learn something new, and I'm always interested in other people and what makes them unique.

Right now I'm looking for a long-term relationship, but I'm also here to learn. My goal is to be honest as possible, meet interesting people, and either find a great girl or screw things up expertly so that I learn something new. I've already managed that bit once or twice to great effect!

I'm an aerospace engineer trying to get a new commercial plane tested and ready to go. That job is fairly high demand and not particularly fun so I am also investigating a startup company that I have been working on with some friends. I'm looking forward to some new things going on professionally.

At the same time, I'm trying to find a way to get back into developing my creative side. Big engineering companies don't do much to satisfy that urge so I've been using my free time to try new things. It's a side of me that my technically oriented friends may not get, but I've decided to start pursuing it anyway.

Really right now, I'm experimenting. I'm in the middle of a new adventure to a location I haven't determined yet, but I plan on throwing myself at the journey. If you have the heart I would love for you to join me!

Probably my energy level. I have stupid amounts of energy and always want to do something new. Close second is my bluntness (outrageousness?), both comedic and otherwise. Sitting in there somewhere is strength. I don't seem to come off as very strong until I lift several people and/or vehicles by myself.

Partying hard at the house of one of the many friends. We try to make things as ridiculous as possible in various different ways, but mostly we're just happy to see each other.

I'm probably just as nervous or afraid as you are, but my coping mechanism is to run towards something frightening instead of away.
