My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
More often than not, I am synchronously browsing the four corners of OkCupid with metamanda.

I am geeky, as in I'll spend copious amount of time learning random things, I have a soft spots for maths in visuals things, and debrouillard enough to fix most things using a combination of toothpicks and duct tape. I am a maker of computational tidbits, software experiments, hardware stuffed in squishy casings.

I have issues staying long in a single place. I've had travel under my skin for quite some time, and the urge isn't going anywhere. Work has been an anchor, and time sponge; I co-run an interaction design studio where I can build a mix list of projects and expense toys-r-us trips and silicone as research purchases.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
A lot of my days are spent building computational projects, or thinking about what to build next. I freelance as an interaction designer/software developer, often to build interactive artworks or tools used by artists. At the same time, my girlfriend and I are growing a business, balancing office work, and working at home in our underpants, video conference meetings excluded.

In the summer I'll spend a lot of time sipping a beer watching plants grows in our mini city sidewalk garden. Then eating the vegetables of our labor. I might also be spending time planning the next trip, places where I can eat things that won't grow in these parts.

Short version: I like to tinker, travel and taste.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding things on maps, eating cupcakes, programming computing oddities, baking this one kind of muffin, tying knots (no scout training), staring contest with infants on planes (this is harder than it sounds, and parents don't seem to like strangers staring at their kids).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Quotes seem appropriate: "Are you always that quiet?", "Is that your real hair color?", and "Your eyes are really blue for that hair color" (that might have been the same person).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is always problematic because at the rate at which I update information, this will always reveal a flash frozen view of my changing taste at some point in the past, but I it's the same for everyone.

In no particular order:
Books: The Walking Dead, Blue Latitudes, Hitchhiker's Guide, work by Alberto Manguel, The Boy, Marabou Stork Nightmares, Filth, On the Edge, The Beach, The Atrocity Exhibition, Letters to a Young Poet.
Movies: Wonderboys, Point Break, Night Watch, Paprika, Juno, Lost in Translation, Fight Club, Inception.
Music: Animal Collective, Black Moth Super Rainbow, NIN, Death From Above 1979, The Black Keys, Sebastien Tellier, LCD Soundsystem, Chromeo, Knaan, Daft Punk
Food: massaman curry, chocolate cupcakes, the specials Au Pied de Cochon, candied afghani pumpkin, avocados, fried chicken skin

Theater: I rarely go see play, last amazing one was Book of Mormon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hot showers (actually general good plumbing), the prospect of moving to a warmer climate if not already in one, sweet goods (chocolate molten cake), rice cooker (how did it take so long for me to know that existed baffles me), walking distance to Au Pied de Cochon, and computer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Travel, interactive projects, cupcakes, typography, business work, and lately, the core differences between male and female unicorns.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching a movie, having a drink, baking muffins, and/or programming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes, going to bed, I roll the blanket around my eyes so that it is pitch black; some of those times I pretend it's a blindfold.
